Absolutely stunning video showcasing the beauty of the Ha Giang Loop in Vietnam! I was completely mesmerized by the breathtaking landscapes and the captivating atmosphere you've so skillfully captured. Thank you immensely for this unforgettable virtual journey! 🙌✨
Just watching this video is giving me absolute goosebumps with excitement. The video is absolutely beautifully edited and I'm so excited to do this loop soon, and cant wait to head back to Vietnam once again.. thank you for the wonderful tips
I’ve commented on your videos before you’re both amazing you doing an incredible job of documenting what you do and helping other people learn about what they should do effectively. I really appreciate what you do very much.
Great video about Ha Giang loop. thank you so much for sharing all of your expriend. also thank you so much for coming also. 5 year ago, Ha Giang have nothing, with no custommer, no traveler, no work to do, ... everyone supper poor. but now more people come back and do the work in Ha Giang, they come back from Bình Dương, Hồ Chí Minh city, Hà Nội .... someone come back from China also.
You guys are great, the content is very easy to understand and contains a lot of useful information, thank you for visiting Ha Giang Loop, all the luck will come to you.
Great video! What time of year did you do this? Trying to figure out when it's not too wet and cold. I'd have time in Oct/Nov this year but not sure it's a good time. I got drenched last year at that time in Central.
We were there mid-Nov to mid-Dec. Definitely not the best time to visit northern Vietnam. It was quieter for sure, but the mountains were fairly cold with some drizzle most of the time, especially in Ha Giang. Still beautiful though!
Why would you recommend semi-automatic or regular shifting more than automatic? Is there a lot of engine brake needed? And... nice video btw. We start our loop tomorrow.
Manual / standard motorcycles are probably even better if you know how to ride them! Semi-automatic is usually used by tourists as most have limited experience. You definitely need engine brake as it gets very steep in some places. Good luck and enjoy!! 🤞
Thanks for this valuable information. I have to go for 3 days so considering the long driving distances choosing the right routes is essential. How did you manage for the stays on the different stops
The stays were all arranged for us... so we didn't have to worry about it too much. There definitely are a good amount of places to stay on the loop. So alternatively, you could just pop in on the day itself and see if they have availability.
Great video! My friend and I are considering going to Ha Giang from Hanoi sometime in November - December 2024. We are Vietnamese Canadian living in Toronto. I would appreciate it if you could provide some advice/recommendations. Thanks.
Hi I love your video and would like to plan my trip following your guide. I would like to ask about when going to Ha Jang city I take a 7 hours bus correct. So if i want to make the most of my time is it better to leave Hanoi taking the night bus then arrive in Ha Jang the next day and start the loop straight away? What. do you recommend? I only have 3 full days on Ha Jang meaning the 3rd day I need to take the night bus back to Hanoi.
Yes you can take a night bus from Hanoi and arrive in the morning. Start the loop that day. Then on day 3 take the night bus back to Hanoi. It will be exhausting though but it works if you’re constrained with time
Welcome to Ha Giang, if you need any assistant or support during the loop, don't be hesistate to contact us. If you want to explore Ha Giang Loop by yourself but no license and would like to selfriding please contact us for assistant
I think we paid about 600 USD for the entire trip for the two of us (4 days / 3 nights). That included the motorcycle rental, English speaking guide, accommodations, all the food, one extra easy rider, and one night before and after the loop in the Yolo guesthouse.
My biggest questions is - which company to book with for a not too big like 50 people tour - there are so many options! Also should one book directly with co or hostel in Ha Giang (perhaps cheaper) than in Hanoi? Also travel there by day bus or night bus - I mean who wants to get there at 3 in morning - I bet you don't go to sleep at 3 :-) Perhaps some readers can fill in on their experiences. I've read that Jasmine groups are too big
We arrived the day before doing the loop and took a full rest day there. It’s possible to arrive at night but it’s very tiring! The company we booked with is in the description below. We didn’t go for a group tour but there definitely are a bunch of those as well out there!

The raining season has clear skies during the day but heavy rains in the evening / night which might lead to some landslides etc. I think the spring / autumn would've been best. So maybe between March to May or October to November. But we would also just add more flexibility in our days so we could've waited for the good days
Besides motorbike, There are many different options to explore Ha Giang Loop, It could be by car/open jeep air or combined experience when you can do some part with motorbike, some part with car, some part with bycicle. In private tour, We customize the trip as your favourite to ensure you have the most comfortable experience.
We were definitely not carrying a laptop! Try to take as little as possible. I think we paid about 600 USD for the entire trip for the two of us (4 days / 3 nights). That included the motorcycle rental, English speaking guide, accommodations, all the food, one extra easy rider, and one night before and after the loop in the Yolo guesthouse.
The easy riders are about 30 USD per day if we're not mistaken. They don't always speak English though. English speaking guide is a bit more expensive I believe.
Yes you can just use your google maps if you download the area offline. You'll find other riders so you can also just follow them! Though there are definitely some spots that seemed harder to find...
Thank you so much for coming and staying with us. See you next time with better weather.
when is the best time to go there? when is the highest probability to have good weather?
@@Untergang77 you can come from August. at that time not so hot and rain anymore

Thanks! Did you get to drive it? 😄
I spent 14 nights riding around north Vietnam on my own it was the best thing I have ever done. Just go and do it yourself.
What month did you go?

Agreed!
Hi can I ask what platform you used to make a map @4:08? Curious as to make one similarly of my own. Great video! Planning to do this loop next month!
We actually drew this map ourselves! We based it on a map we got from the tour company of the area
Great video! What time of year did you do this? Trying to figure out when it's not too wet and cold. I'd have time in Oct/Nov this year but not sure it's a good time. I got drenched last year at that time in Central.

Hi! Awesome thanks! Did you use a Go-pro with stick? What about the rainy weather?
Yes that was our Go Pro! Lots of rainy weather so be careful. Go pro is waterproof so no issues there
Why would you recommend semi-automatic or regular shifting more than automatic? Is there a lot of engine brake needed? And... nice video btw. We start our loop tomorrow.

Love the video and drone shots! Was it easy enough to bring drone in and fly?
Yes it wasn't too hard, just don't fly it close to the Chinese border as it's very controlled
Hello ! Nice video, I loved it ! Do you think it’s safe to do it in the rain season ? Thank you !
It’s possible to do. But wouldn’t recommend it. Terrain is really tough here, especially after rain

Mostly go pro!

Going to Vietnam, particularly SaPa and Ha Giang Loop with my friends this september, any suggestion where to go along the way?
Nice! Those two places are awesome! You might want to add Cat Ba Island or Ha Long Bay. Also Ninh Binh!
❤❤❤❤
How many days can spend in sa pa and in ha giang??
Which month did you take the trip? Was it in January itself?
End of November - Start December
*Cung đường Hà Giang thật tuyệt vời* !
Hi, great video thanks. Did local police check for international driving license?
Absolutely! They checked multiple times

Is it okay to fly drone here?

I ride only small motorbike and after 40 minutes I get back pain. I guess I’m not ready yet for this trip. Need to fix my back first…
A lot of time is spent driving so definitely not suitable for a bad back!

@@worldwildhearts $600? that seems really high , what was the cost breakdown . I dont see how that got to 600 unless the guide was expensive

No we booked with Yolo!
Can not find info how much was easy ride service?
Very easy, just sit back and enjoy the trip
