Thanks for this. I'm a relatively healthy 32 year old mother of two, and I've been getting these PVCs since my early twenties. My cardiologist assures me they're benign and my heart is structurally sound, but it's still an uncomfortable sensation and can feel quite scary, especially when I get them frequently. Seems to happen anytime my body is stressed (during my period, an illness, a busy week at work or just heightened emotional stress). Glad to know others feel lightheaded from them as well.
Hello I hope you can respond... Has yours gotten worse since covid virus and vaccines (if you have had them) I'm struggling so much with mine. I had an echo 7 years ago. They won't do another one. Can my heart structure change in that time?
This just happened to me! I looked you up and you eased my mind about it. I was all alone and suddenly got light headed and felt like I was going down. Immediately sat down before I fell down and waited until my very hard palpitations passed. I drank water and I feel better… God bless you!
Thank you doctor! This is the best explanation of the symptom and the reason. Now I am much more relaxed knowing what it is. You are contributing so much to human being to reassure many of us with these symptoms. God bless you!
Thank you for this video. I've just subscribed and have enjoyed watching many. I came across them researching health issues I've had 3 years, which may or may not be related - lightheadedness when standing, but only from a crouched down/bent down position (looking at lower shelf in supermarket and gardening, mainly if do it more than once). Also shortness of breath - whilst walking and talking, but also if I put anything in mouth - so during eating, but even before I swallow so nothing to do with food entering my stomach. Even washing face can make me slightly short of breath because I'm naturally pausing my breathing. Swallowing can be slower too with particular foods and I know swallowing and breathing are connected. Had so many tests, including endoscopy.24 hr Holter ECG showed rare SVEs with couplets. 2 SVE runs (longest 5 beats), but came back normal. I reported pulsing pain in left of neck regularly and they said these corresponded with either my SVEs (not sure which). Waiting for results of spirometry, but I've spent 3 years online researching on and off and haven't come across anything with my particular shortness of breath issue. Blood pressure dropped after latest blood pressure test (took it sitting down then standing up), but not enough to be diagnosed with anything. If anyone reading this has similar issues with shortness of breath during the situations I described, I would love to hear from you. Thank you
Thank you for this video, it explains what I have been going through for over a year now. I would get dizzy to the point of not being able to stand followed by sweating and nasea. Had many tests done and nothing unusual until I had a holter monitor and it showed my heart stopping usually at night and then I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. Using the CPAP machine has helped with my energy and the dizzy episodes were likely due to dehydration as I have 1 kidney in stage 4 kidney disease. It appears the mystery has finally been solved for me.
So wonderful, very logical video. I have been suffering with light headedness since three years, consulted many doctors, consumed different types of medicines, made elaborate internet study on this ailment, tried at many people to know as to what actually is lightheadedness/ duzziness caused by. Every body used to tell the reason is due to vertigo. But I know it is not vertigo, but some thing else. Now I came to know from your video the true cause for my lightheadedness. It is so logical and I am really satisfied with your explenation the cause for my problem. I always misunderstood it with vertigo which is really not particularly in my case. So thanks. Now I try to take care from now on ..... like .... taking care of dehydration, anemia in my body etc. Thanks.
This is exactly what happens to me. At last, a possible explanation. I often tell myself I don’t drink enough water and it’s such a simple thing to do.

Thank you Doctor.. now at least I know I am not gonna drop over dead.. ha ha.. .I had a massive HA last March and have had anxiety since then, I have always had flip flops even when I was younger and never paid attention to them, but since my HA, they scare me for some reason.. My cardiologist assures me that I had little to no damage with my STEMI and that my heart is super strong, the day after my HA my ejection fraction was 68 percent, ((maybe because of my shiny new stent I had implanted)) but he said that was beautiful that most people sustain bad damage to their heart with the type of HA I had, so I am thankful for that... I think some of my "dizziness" I get with my palps are anxiety, because I feel the palpitation and I start to panic right away... but I just wanted to say thanks for the video and for reassuring me that I am not jsut gonna fall over dead... Have a great day..

i’m faithfully watching your videos. My mother-in-law suffers with PVCs they are life altering. She’s had all the tests just got recently started on beta blocker. the PVCs continue she’s very symptomatic w them, gets weak sometimes dizzy like she could pass out. Her voice is always so weak also w the spells and also very fatigued w heart spells and she can definitely feel her heart beating and racing w all the spells. So she knows it is when her heart has PVCs. When they are really bad she must lay down. Can u educate all of us on some pointers of what she can do during the spells itself, I have been talking with her about slow pursed lip breathing. I am a nurse and have been trying to help her with pointers and also bearing down for like a bowel movement, Sometimes this does help her sometimes it does not and they continue to persist the PVCs. She is under cardiology care she’s already had two stress tests and a angiogram both no concerns they know she has PVCs. And a year and a half ago she wore a heart monitor pvcs got bad so the above two tests done. She has two er trips and spent time in hospital and was having pvcs there and they ruled out stroke and Tia but did prescribe plavix as precaution the reason was her voice was so weak w the pvcs spells it was not slurred speech just weak voice as she herself is so weak w these pvcs heart spells. I think they’re going to do another heart monitor in the near future, but her cardiologist did put her on metaprolol per myself asking him, if she could try that, He ordered 25 mg twice a day and she sees him in three months again she definitely has these spells with her heart doing this, and it correlates with her weakness, fatigue, weak voice.and then some days she skips church or feels so poorly in energy she skips activities and it has been life altering for her. can include pointers of what else she can try to do when the symptoms come on for particularly a patient with known pvcs. I’m sharing so many videos with her of yours to help her. She also 3 weeks ago her doctor got her on Wellbutrin and lexapro hoping that would help her. She had agreed and even saw a psychiatrist as her primary kept thinking it was all anxiety she has been on the above meds which take 6 weeks or so so maybe will help some. But currently she has spells 4 or 5 times a week still and it wrecks days when she has them. Ty for your time.
Oh and she is getting off her trazadone 50mg one tab at bedtime for sleep and her Flonase just recently as they both can cause PVCs it says. The er doctors put her on a poi protonix which can cause PVCs but she stopped that 3;weeks ago and now takes fomatadine. .
whenever i workout i feel dizzy and ultimately get panic which results in body chills and weakness on face and hands. Should I continue working out. Its been almost a year i am suffering from this.

I was diagnosed with viral pericarditis back in december. I been popping 800mg ibuprofen 3 times day most days since but its not really going away, i'm thinking I should go back to my doctor. I also have problems laying close to flat at night I get irratic heart beats like my heart is being really slow blump blump then a pause and another beat. Still getting chest pains and I think the irregular heart beats probably aren't good for me. My echocardiogram and Ekg and blood test were normal in december last year. A holter monitor picked up some atrial fib but doctor says wasn't enough he would worry about it back in december.
@I want to eat chicken • 150 years ago Well i recovered but for about 6 months or longer I could feel the effects of it the worst part was heart palpitations laying down. I ran half marathon 4 times last year I sleep better without all the heart palpitations I was having, so basically the heart palpitations aren't happening now so i recovered.
great video! !!! but I don't understand; I drink five water bottles a day, that are twenty oz. and still I get dizziness and even blackouts .and yes, I have salt in my diet why dose it still keep happening? dose this mean something is sireusly wrong with me? HELP!!🚨 I'm a little scared now!
I suffer with CAD, had two stents put in. In hot weather or very cold weather my blood pressure rises dramatically, even though I take 30 mg of lisinopril, prescribed. My question: are weather extremes dangerous for me? In terms of heart health? And why?
Thanks doc for this video. Been getting dizzy and hearts been racing really fast sometimes…… I often get these problems and it disappears by itself and again it comes back. Thought it’s a serious problem anyone let me know if it’s a serious problem?!
I wonder if you could help me. Other day I was not stressed and suddenly I had three massive bits followed by a dizziness. It lasted about 5 to 6 seconds. Should I be worried about this?
I’m 19, and I’ve felt like absolute crap these last couple of days. I’ve been able to feel my heartbeat, ever since an episode where I had a really fast pulse for about 10 minutes for no reason (I was resting right after breakfast) and it’s maddening. It’s making it hard to sleep and when I wake up I am immediately stressed by it. My appetite is also bad, since the sensation is so uncomfortable I get a little nauseous. At first I thought they are panic episodes or attacks which I’ve had before but this feels off..
But what's the underlying cause of this, I've been getting this regularly now for two months but I also have general weakness in my legs, l now can't do physically exertions without getting palpitations and lightheadednes, I'm 53 years old and been a labourer all my life without this recent problem. Is it stress ?
I get at most 25 ectopics beats a day some days I don’t get any. Cleared by cardiologist echo, stress echo , even monitor x2 all clear. I get PVCs and PACs but less than 1 percent burden. Frustrating as I was pretty active and my job is demanding. Constantly dizzy lightheaded and I put the two together but they assure me it’s not Heart related blood work good.. suffer from GAD anything similar out there?
I hear you, same boat, always dizzy lightheaded get about 20 or so palps on bad days, always during week when im working, the weekends are better, i figured out it anxiety/stress. Try to not think about it. My cardiologist tries to keep putting me on these very strong heart rhythm meds and im like wtf.
I have experienced ectopics, a few episodes of them here and there. The only concerning thing for me is almost a year ago, I had what felt like an ectopic, followed by this rush of dizziness/almost fainted. I bent over with hands on knees and was very short of breath with with pounding heart. I was pale. Heart rate back to normal after about 30 sec. I am healthy 31yo male. ECG said nothing remarkable. I wrote it off as ectopic that started a panic attack. But I can’t help wondering if there is something I should be concerned with I never went to cardiologist. Has anyone else experience this??
Yes I am going through the same symptoms, would be walking my dog and out of nowhere dizzy to the point I can't stand up. Then I get the sweats and nausea. Turns out I had severe sleep apnea and that may have to do with this condition along with dehydration and kidney disease. Spent a lot of time with Dr. getting tests done and finally have the answer.
Me I'm 34y.o right now I'm experiencing this symptoms all over after I experienced Anxiety attack.. feeling of palpitations and feeling dizzy all the time but my heart rate was at normal rate and my Blood pressure was at normal rate too. I'm scared of feeling to experience again..feeling of fainting
But if you make an EKG, and the doctor says there is verything ok...then the cause of a constant lightheadedness is not related from the heart itself ? This effect you described can bee seen in a EKG i think ?
Sir jab Kabhi heartbeat tez ho jati hai 130 above khade hone pe dizziness lagta hai par in sitting position or lie down position its normal toh yeah koi heart problem toh nahi hai ya palpitations hai do bar hua hai aisa mera sath few minutes me apna app theek ho jata
I have these symptoms however mine can last for about 5 seconds. As it happens My vision changes and I feel very uncomfortable. Is this normal within a structurally normal heart? I feel fine after the symptoms dissapear...
Did you ever discover why this was happening? I have the same symptoms, dizziness and vision changes, then it passes and I am fine, but mine can last for a few minutes sometimes.
K i did not. I changed my life style however like better diet better sleep less stress/anxiety and it just stopped after a while. I hope it does for you too, best of luck.
can Anxiety cause this? this is been happening to me since i had my endoscopy almost 2mo ago. im sooo scare and i cry everytime it happens. it almost feel like it comes from my stomach but i know is my heart. Ive been told numerous times that is my anxiety but my BP was low when i saw the doctor. so idk now
A Harvard medical study the appearance of this symptom suggests it may be an early sign of Parkinsons disease. My concerns are extended periods of palpitations, with transient dizziness upon standing, and a drop in blood pressure lasting for an hour or more before returning to normal range. I've had this symptom intermittently for years, but it has become more frequent and more bothersome. I am 67 and in very good health, exercise, etc. Thanks.

@i want to eat chicken • 150 years ago me too as well and I have severe anxiety too

Sarah A.
Did you survive?
explain CauseIdontGetIT guess not 😬
But what causes it? And what can we do to fix it? I drink plenty of water and take electrolytes,
How would a dr spot this, would checking the blood pressure and heart etc?
o m g you answer my question THANK YOU :)
I’m 16 and I get so scared because I get palpitations and dizziness every hour or so and it’s so worrying but that can be explained by this right?
Hi doc i can hear my heart beating in my ear, when i sleep at night.Feel lighheaded in morning is it Vertigo. Head pains on 1 side
Dr. what is your opinion on Urine Therapy?

Is it stress ?

Are these events dangerous for the brain?
thank u for the video....
I am in the same boat with you
I hear you, same boat, always dizzy lightheaded get about 20 or so palps on bad days, always during week when im working, the weekends are better, i figured out it anxiety/stress. Try to not think about it. My cardiologist tries to keep putting me on these very strong heart rhythm meds and im like wtf.
My head feels weird when the big pump happens at the end of the pvc. Like I feel a pulse in my head. Is this normal?
I have experienced ectopics, a few episodes of them here and there. The only concerning thing for me is almost a year ago, I had what felt like an ectopic, followed by this rush of dizziness/almost fainted. I bent over with hands on knees and was very short of breath with with pounding heart. I was pale. Heart rate back to normal after about 30 sec. I am healthy 31yo male. ECG said nothing remarkable. I wrote it off as ectopic that started a panic attack. But I can’t help wondering if there is something I should be concerned with I never went to cardiologist. Has anyone else experience this??
I always get this and its kind of happening now its such a scary feeling
How are you
Yes same happens with me
What’s deemed as enough water per day
beautifully explained. yes please on slow heart beat as I have this problem. thank you
i wish u were my doctor . my doctors never explain me anything they take my blood and say nothings wrong
On God
But if you make an EKG, and the doctor says there is verything ok...then the cause of a constant lightheadedness is not related from the heart itself ? This effect you described can bee seen in a EKG i think ?
Right... I did an EKG and it read fine.
Sudden increase in blood pressure and fast heartbeat and dizziness- very short span
what if this happens while you are running?
Just chill and go back at it. Don't push past the feeling calm down and go back at it
I do the breathing exercise to relieve the lightheadedness
Sir jab Kabhi heartbeat tez ho jati hai 130 above khade hone pe dizziness lagta hai par in sitting position or lie down position its normal toh yeah koi heart problem toh nahi hai ya palpitations hai do bar hua hai aisa mera sath few minutes me apna app theek ho jata
Abhi kaise hai Ap?
Thank u.
So, how to fix this?
Ive been told numerous times that is my anxiety but my BP was low when i saw the doctor. so idk now
How are u now
@@황아브리엘 hopefully fine
yes... me too
A Harvard medical study the appearance of this symptom suggests it may be an early sign of Parkinsons disease. Thanks.
