@@EdBwoytwo years late but that’s an issue a lot of people have. they simply shave their studs so you can’t run wheels anymore on your normal hub but you could always attach a spacer with those smaller studs and the spacer has its own studs
Man I'm glad you made this video..I really want a set of those 20in wheels for my 07' M35 rwd. I just want to to simply install them without any problems and don't have to change anything such as studs, spacers, etc. I believe you mentioned about using certain type of lug nuts from one your older previous video if I'm not mistaken. I'm gonna email you about purchasing a set of these wheels because I don't want to run into any problems. Seriously thanks for all of your videos and what you share..! 🙏🏾
Yup! You're probably referring to this video - ruclips.net/video/FnP8qLhkVjI/видео.html Nothing special needed. Just get the wheels, and mag-style lug nuts and slap them on. They fit the 06-10 body style pretty well.
@@EdBwoy we're looking for a set for the lady's g37... Saw 1 in denver the other day with the y51 sport wheels... SLICK.. Great vid here Ed.. Also, that q50 with the sport wheels really transforms the car.. And that brown Champaign color is gorgeous
You can always get a 25mm with pressed studs to allow sport wheels with those shallow cut outs. Perfect spec for those lowered to get that flush look.
So, for my 25 mm spacer, the original studs still protrude a little.
Could you post a link to the ones you recommend?

You shouldn't need spacers for this project.. Wheels will mount right up

Nice video, thanks 👍🏽
I appreciate it
Do you know if the fx50 sport wheels have the clearance issue for the studs?
I don't think so. I have had 4 different sets over the years, and they all had very spacious reliefs.
I suppose I've just never heard of any complaints with those, like I did with the M/Q70 wheels specifically.
Ahh okay cool! I havent heard of any complains either in our FX facebook group.
