idk how mine select outside of the shape i created and not the actual shape i created with the pen tool( a rectengular box with a hole of my custom shape inside it) when i try creating it with work path and 3d extrusion.

If you haven't learnt to colour it, I think being new to Photoshop we can actually import it in paint 3d and ork on it there.
