I was wondering does it hold the setting for units (ft, meter, inches) that you change it to after shutting it off and turning it back on?
You state, it is annoying to change the units... it is set up that way so you don't change the units by accident while using the other buttons.
Correct, it's intended to hold for a few seconds to change. He should had read the instructions to know why it wouldn't change that easy.
That looks like a sound/unit button. Probably tap to mute hold to change unit. Just sayin...
You didnt match it with an actual tape measure to check how accurate it was

Glad to see something else other than power tools. I also feel that unit changing setup on the unit is annonying. I really like that option where you can measure volume, do you think you can make a video on that once you learn ?

Hey Dale, for the price, you really get a lot. If you need something that offers more than your basic measurements, I would say absolutely, but if you just need something to give a quick reading, there are others out there. Long story short, it's a good buy with advanced measurement taking. I'm happy with it.
