Hey thank you! That’s a good idea. Will definitely consider it! On a quick note, I’ve been pretty happy with it so far. Also coated the 2nd car in the garage that sees a lot more miles than this and it’s holding up well.
You are 100% correct. A tightly woven micro fiber towel works best. Use many towels. A 50/50 IPA solution also works well before the ceramic coating is applied. So far, the Chemical Guys ceramic coating is holding out well for me. Don’t forget to maintain the coating every 3 or 4 months by washing, clay mitt, decontamination followed by a spray-on topper like Turtlewax Flex Graphine or similar.
Hey Jim thanks for the note! I hadn’t though to do a decon as a maintenance step. Do you think that would interfere with the coating at all, or cause it to wear prematurely?
@@GTJessegraphene shampoo by Adams polishes will help maintain the coating as well. I have the 5 year carbon force

Did my aspen white wrx last night with this product,did not get that”rainbow” effect either. Just timed 30-1min like they said .

Hey! So I’ve since wrapped my car and applied a million other products. If I were to rate this product though I would say it’s a solid quality ceramic coating for the price but like all coatings should have a periodic maintenance routine in order to maintain its effectiveness.
When buffing off the ceramic coating please move the cloth in straight lines compared to circular motions.

@@abpakdeep interesting, I’ve never heard that before… similar to wax, when you buff it off you’re no longer spreading the product, you’re just removing the excess. As long as it’s applied uniformly, it should be okay.
