Nice list Clemence. Dior Homme intense is my favourite of the line too. People prefer the parfum because of how beastmode it is. Unfortunately thats the trend nowadays. Performance before the actual scent. My picks are: 1) Narciso Rodriguez Edp for him, 2) Grey Vetiver 3) Fahrenheit Edt 4) Terre D Hermes edt 5) Zino by Davidoff 6) Oud Wood by Tom Ford 7) Fougere D Argent by T. Ford 8) Encre Noir a l extreme 9) Dior Homme Intense 10) Lalique pour homme (Lion). Honorable mentions: 1) Gucci pour homme 2) Gucci pour homme 2. Unfortunately discontinued.

I love Narciso Rodriguez bleu noir. That's a sexy scent to me.. The extreme version is really nice too. It has that almost frozen citrus, airy vibe on top of the ebony woods.
Love watching your vids learn about vintage and new frags Also out the trend you are right smell unique not like everyone else That accent is so sexy , your intro got that classic vibe. Fahrenheit is my all time no others smells even close

I could have written this list. Spot on. My top 3 of all time TDH, Guerlain Vetiver (Sycomore is really my favorite), Dior Homme Intense. Eau Savauge, Platinum Egoiste, La Nuit, YSL L'Homme Ultime and lastly Coromandel. I can't go a day without smelling Coromandel. I'm literally addicted to the dirty patchouli/vanilla. Even if I'm wearing something else... I have a tiny spray of Coromandel. Mmmm mmm mmm I don't regret the ridiculously high price at all. My #1 "designer".
Only one on this list I don't own is Luna Rosa Black. I have the original. I need to try Black.

Very nice list Clémence, I have both the Dior Homme Intense 2011 and 2020 versions, luckily Dior Intense 2020 is pretty much the same as the 2011 formulation, just a tad fresher. Unlike Dior Homme which was a disaster!!!!

Great list & excellent summation on each. Personally I enjoy from Prada Luna Rossa Extreme & Amber Pour Homme Intense as they are both superb in performance. Never can lose with Terre D’Hermes but, I prefer the edp for the intensity. Finally I really enjoy Guerlain Vetiver Extreme as an excellent year round office scent along with Acqua Di Parma Ginepro di Sardegna as a classic yet modern scent. Again, awesome list and video Milady....

I thought of you today as I applied Terre d’ EDT. Little strong for me, but only at first ... the dry down is gorgeous! We also have Td'H in Parfum but that one, umm, I just don't know. I adore Narciso Rodriguez for him EDP. Also own & love Dior Homme Parfum & Tom Ford Grey Vetiver. (love most of Tom Ford's creations.) GREAT Choices! You put together a perfect List!

Guerlain Vetiver is fantastic, super versatile and so cheap for the quality you get.
La Nuit I have always loved
Chanel Egoiste is warm, comforting, mature but never old
DHI 2011 I have but very rarely have an occasion to wear it. I guess I need to get out more ... lol.
Terre EDT is very versatile and very clean and mature and dirty in a clean way if that makes any sense.
I plan on getting Pour Monsieur as my next Chanel fragrance.
There are several in my collection that I will always own, but the first that comes to mind is Chanel Allure Homme.

I loved the list you have pulled out. I smelled all of them. They smell so good! My favorites are Valentino Uomo, L'Envol, La Nuit de l'Homme and Bleu Noir. So so good!

Could YSL La Nuit work for very hot weather? Between 25-30C? More than 30C I dont even like using fragrances even fresh ones.
I live in Brazil so its basically 20-30C all year, could it work during the night? I dont think La nuit is a good idea for the day here lol

Personnellement j'aime Narciso Rodríguez, j'aime beaucoup ce que fait INITIO (Absolute Aphrodisiac), et j'aime toujours Givenchy Pi 👀 Ce dernier est mon parfum avec le plus de compliments 💛

Ive still got the JPG LeMale when it first came out (the first batch at market), that one is so much better then what can buy today in the shops.
I really have to becareful with this one these days bc of the 1.5 meter restriction the pandemic brought us in, bc women and girls wants to be close as possible to me, I really have to protect my lap bc else they gonna sit on my lap 😂

Is Guerlain Vetiver similar to Terre D'Hermes?
No quite different, you smell more the lemon in the guerlain and the vetiver as well, its more like a fresh eau de cologne
Terre dHermes has more punchy orange, and is more spicy!

Valentino Uomo (2014). Yay! Also a love of mine. BUT I do think it has been weakened. It was my signature scent since 2014 and I recently got a bottle made by L'Oréal as I finished my one made in Spain. And I do think it's weaker. When it first come out it was so juicy and full-bodied. It would last on my clothes for ages. But it does feel weaker sadly. I don't know maybe it's me? 🤷🏻♂️ But it's sad if so because it was my signature scent for the past 6 years. I feel a little sad.
(Update)
Just sprayed the new one on my arm. Urgh, it's not nice, definitely watered down and that's powdery Iris note is overpowered by a synthetic smelling bitter coffee note. It's lost that, sweet chocolatey coffee accord that was so addictive. I don't think I will buy another bottle again. Sad because I have so many memories attached to this. 😞

L'envol edt just doesn't work on me. 😢 Many Cartier scents are nuclear on my skin too. Declaration d'un Soir literally lasts like 26 hours PLUS. I don't know if my decant is from Fukushima or what, but it's like, "excuse me, yes, Mr. Soir, I'd like you to GO AWAY please. Merci." That guy creeps me out.

That's a very good question. I think that's because of the private blend collection that is so unique that it makes us all think about niche, me the first !
Clémence CC Fragrance yes Private Blend is high quality and expensive but Tom Ford is a designer. I thought companies who make only fragrances are classed as Niche ?

I find this strict classification not modern anymore. Even „niche“ brands started to explore different markets... you can buy wallets or cufflinks from PDM, CREED is selling leather washbags and byredo now sells leather goods like bags. I really wish people would stop classifying fragrances in niche and designer because it’s also not a quality seal. A fragrance is not better or worse just because it comes from a brand that also sells different things than just the fragrance... in addition to that you also cannot separate by prices, some niche fragrances are much cheaper than other designers... so please let’s just enjoy the fragrances we like without putting them into those kinds of categories
We didn't say that. I don't think niche is better than designer. But let's call a cat a cat. Designers are starting by fashion not fragrances. It's not a question of being modern it's just a vocabulary to describe a brand. Nothing wrong with that
