You have a lovely style of reviewing. Vetiver is my favourite note in perfumy, and Guerlian vetiver is among my top 3, definitely #1 in spring.. I've already worn one full bottle and I i have two more, one of them is a. 2011 formulation, which is awesome.
On days where I'm not sure what to wear and I find myself browsing my fragrances in my head, I usually say to myself, "Guerlain vetiver". And it's decided. Such a comfortable scent to wear. The dry down is spectacular and to my nose I detect some ambergris. I get great silage even at the 8 hour mark.
I do agree that Guerlain Vetiver is a beautiful and definitely a classic fragrance but it does have a dated vibe. Its not the first time that people around me commented that i smell like an old man. Did that stoped me from wearing it? No, hell no. But it does smells dated. Grey Vetiver by Tom Ford is classy and modern at the same time. Nice video Clemence.
Ohh well for me it's smells vintage for sure but not old ! I'm sure you smell amazing with it, that's a shame ! And I agree the tom ford is a bit more modern ! Thanks a lot !
1. Guerlain Vetiver. Absolutely agree... timeless and wonderfully nuanced in its apparent simplicity. Incredible value, too. Perhaps the best of all time. 2. BDC would have preferred the more airy Parfum version over the darker EDP. 3. Terre d'Hermes is well-known but I find it astringent and humorlessly uptight. Would pick Cartier Declaration over it as the classic choice for this type. 4. Dior Fahrenheit smells like lighter fluid. I cannot understand its popularity even with 200+ scents in my collection. Just not for me. 5. Have not tried Valentino Uomo yet. Will get a sample. Thanks for your insights!
I’m so glad that I’m not a reviewer.. it would just be lists of Valentino Uomo..it’s an everything in one scent...so versatile until the high heat of summer then it’s Valentino Uomo Aqua time.

I love their fragrances, very classy. Can you review their men’s fragrances, if possible? I have a few of their men’s classics and a recent release le soir on the way. Kind Regards Renoy
I love the nutty, rich and warm opening in Valentino uomo, but I don't like the leather note in the drydown. I love the smell of raw and animalic leather. All Chanel perfumes are very classic, Egoiste, Egoiste platinum, Allure homme ... In addition what you mentioned, I will choose Hugo boss bottled and D&G the one. I feel The one is so Italian . It's sweet, romantic, dark with Italian tobacco in background. It's reminds me of traditional leather tannery in Italy. Maybe it doesn't have the best ingredients, but I feel this perfume will never die
Agree with the Chanel as being all time classics ! And agree also with your choices these are scent I was thinking of too, like D&G the one ! Thanks a lot !

Good question. Sycomore is in Les exclusifs range from Chanel, it is meant to be their "niche" range of fragrances. That's why I chose bleu that goes alongside the "designer" category to me ! Hahah and I think Chris is too high in the game hahah !

Clemence, you konow that eau sauvage parfum from 2012( the one you are talking about) is no longer in production, however there is a new version 2017, which is similar but, instead of myrr uses elemi?
Since you really liked Dior Eau Sausage Parfum 2012 with the myrrh note in it have you smelled the 2017 variant with elemi? I'm curious as to your opinion.
The EDP has got more sensual vibe with amber note and you can feel more the grapefruit in the opening also, if you have the Parfum that's tricky, I will recommend to try it before purchasing
@@clemenceccfragrance The Parfum doesn't seem to last long on me. Im not sure if it is a case of I can not smell it but others can but it is not beast longevity
YESSS! I'm glad you chose Bleu de Chanel edp for most timeless of the house. Not as many guys wear it now in my daily life. I don't go around smelling other dudes but I know they are all cheap 😆
These are good staff! The BEST ICONIC staff you can buy in commercial/brands fragrance shops and i like all of them, except eau savage;) and Acqua di Giò(overrated to the sky except 1-2 versions that are decents if only they have a low price). I'd like to dress an elegant suit all summers just to wear properly Terre d'Hermès; and Uomo is the only Valentino that i like to sniff on a private sexy date, after a short coffe in winter, but I wish it could be more powerful to last more the 20 minutes. Shameful.
I am shocked, with the well placed Floris carrier behind you, that you missed the opportunity to include either Floris No.89 (the actual choice of Ian Fleming and James Bond), or Floris No. 127 (the go to for Winston Churchill and Eva Peron). Classic, mature, old school British gentleman's scents. Otherwise, great choices, especially Guerlain Vetiver. A wonderful fragrance that still smells great to this day.
Well there's a simple explanation to that. Floris is not classified as a designer scent. That's why it's not on this video that is dedicated to designer scents ! But yes otherwise Floris will be for sure in the top of we were talking about niche ! Thanks a lot for sharing and watching the video !
@@clemenceccfragrance That would explain it. I hope you will treat us with the niche version of this video in the future and, indeed, if there is a marked difference between the designer and niche realms in the style of those fragrances.
That's a great list Clemence. I don't think you can go wrong with those choices. I own each of them and some would make my list too. Would like to see a Men's niche list ;D My list would be: Paco Rabanne Pour Homme (my wife bought my first ever bottle back in the mid 90's so very dear to me) Chanel Platinum Egoiste (was my first Chanel and I received for my 21st many, many years ago now) YSL Kouros (it was my Uncle's signature scent in the 80's and he died in a motorcycle accident a long time ago - it brings back great memories of my Uncle) Terre d'Hermes (such a beautiful classic scent, I was so happy to see it in your list) Tom Ford Grey Vetiver (this just beats Guerlain Vetiver for me, but only just....) Just missed out: Guerlain Vetiver & Habit Rouge, Chanel BdC (was hard to leave out but Kouros has the memories attached), Mugler Pure Malt, Z&V This is Him!, Lalique Pour Homme, John Varvatos Vintage (if only this lasted longer)
Oh I have to say I really hesitated with kouros ! It's such a great and all time classic scent you're so right Video on the niche might come for sure ! Thanks for watching and taking the time to share your picks !

Ahhhhh.......J'aime Clemence 😘
Merci Louise 🤩
Tu as énormément de goût ! Tu es sublime, ta musique merveilleuse, tu as une classe folle !!! J’aime énormément 🤩🤩👍👍👍💋💋💋
Ohhhh merci c'est adorable ! Je vais en rougir ! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
The only one from the list I care about is Valentino Uomo. Have 2 of that and 2 of the Intense version.
Fantastic video Clemence!
Ow thank you so much !
Clemence, you konow that eau sauvage parfum from 2012( the one you are talking about) is no longer in production, however there is a new version 2017, which is similar but, instead of myrr uses elemi?
Ow that's very sad, but I think I did try this one too, and it didn't shock me 🤔 I need to get a sample of this, thanks for the update !
Love your accent. ❤
What's the name of the music you're playing for your intro?
Ow it's a vintage music free of rights ! So there's no name to it !
Thanks a lot !
Vetiver is timeless gentleman accord 🚀
Completely agree !
Just ordered that gurlain vetiver
Hope you are still enjoying it !
Since you really liked Dior Eau Sausage Parfum 2012 with the myrrh note in it have you smelled the 2017 variant with elemi? I'm curious as to your opinion.
Yes and really enjoyed ! However it’s not as smoky as it used to be
Great reviews CC 🥇
I have Bleu de Chanel Parfum, is it worth getting the EDP version? I have not smelled the EDP
Fragrances reacts different on every skin I'm affraid so it's rarely predictable I'm affraid
Love it, 4/5 for me. Keep well and safe ♥️♥️
You too my dear, thanks for watching 🥰
Really interesting and original list. I enjoyed it as usual. Thanks a lot.
- Colin
Thank you, that's so kind Colin ☺️🙏
Hello my lady can you suggest a Vetiver with some sweetness to it because I'm not a big Vetiver fan because of the harshness to most Vetivers?????
Hm that's pretty hard, never met a sweet vetiver however nuit de Megève from eight and bob as a slight warm vetiver touch!
Terre D'Hermes is quite fruity and citrus. Try that.
Super list, like all of those.
Ohh thank you!
Yeahh, i bought Guerlain Vetiver because of you 😁👍
Oh did you ! Great choice !
@@clemenceccfragrance yes i did! Thank you, now i have everything on the list
Very beautiful women loved your video.
Thanks a lot!
clicked for guerlain
YESSS! I'm glad you chose Bleu de Chanel edp for most timeless of the house. Not as many guys wear it now in my daily life. I don't go around smelling other dudes but I know they are all cheap 😆
@10:56..you’re too funnie. ♥️your vids. That’s awesome you wear all fragrances...all fragrance should be unisex😃

oh waw thanks !
@@clemenceccfragrance You're welcome. Thank you for all of your great fragrance reviews. 👍
Keep up the great videos. Got 2/5 on your list.
Ah great mark! Thanks a lot !
Shameful.
I completely agree with you for Valentino it doesn't last that long on me too but I so much love the scent that I forgive it haha .
Thanks a lot !
I am proud to own all of your favourites haha. I have good taste clearly.😏
Definitely hahaha well done!
I love your video. You look fabulous. Thanks for sharing.:-)
Ow thank you so much 🤍✨
Love Valentino Uomo
Nothing can beat TOM FORD 🔥
Tom ford is 💣
Guerlain Vetiver Is A Really Nice Fragrance
Yes sure !
Clémence CC Fragrance Yes 😊
Terre D'Hermès 👍🙂❤
Yes ✨🤍
Please can do a review on the blue de chanel edt, edp and perfume.
Will come !
@@jackburtonstwin I will for sure, o don't know when yet but I will ☺️
That's a great list Clemence. I don't think you can go wrong with those choices. I own each of them and some would make my list too. Would like to see a Men's niche list ;D
My list would be:
Paco Rabanne Pour Homme
(my wife bought my first ever bottle back in the mid 90's so very dear to me)
Chanel Platinum Egoiste (was my first Chanel and I received for my 21st many, many years ago now)
YSL Kouros (it was my Uncle's signature scent in the 80's and he died in a motorcycle accident a long time ago - it brings back great memories of my Uncle)
Terre d'Hermes
(such a beautiful classic scent, I was so happy to see it in your list)
Tom Ford Grey Vetiver (this just beats Guerlain Vetiver for me, but only just....)
Just missed out: Guerlain Vetiver & Habit Rouge, Chanel BdC (was hard to leave out but Kouros has the memories attached), Mugler Pure Malt, Z&V This is Him!, Lalique Pour Homme, John Varvatos Vintage (if only this lasted longer)
Oh I have to say I really hesitated with kouros ! It's such a great and all time classic scent you're so right
Video on the niche might come for sure !
Thanks for watching and taking the time to share your picks !
How do you compare Guerlain Vetiver to Tom Ford Grey Vetiver?
The grey vetiver is much more modern, guerlain is more sharper !
1. Bvlgari pour homme
2. Bvlgari Extreme pour homme
3. ADG Profumo
4. Hermes Terre de Hermes
5. D&G The One
Love the list !
Kikou Clémence 😘😘 très bonne vidéo !!! En Français pour femmes !!! Please 💖💖
Bonjour Beatrice !
Celle pour femme devrait pas tarder à arriver mais elle sera en anglais 🤔
Merci d'avoir regardé !
