It’s so beautiful omg I actually used you first video and showed it to my stylist to get my hair done but I didn’t want my hair to lock so get them taken out one get them remade every 4-5 month 😂😂 I just loved the way they looked on ur girl so I asked her if it was possible to do the and take them out and we found out it’s possible so long we do not interlock the hair. Now that’s my go to hair style and I love it cuz I also get to have my hair out in a Afro when I want
Lol omggg I loveee it 🥹😂💗 ! Thanks so much !! & yes locs can always be combed out, even when they lock. Interlocked locks can be combed out as well, it just take more patience when they are smaller lol so if you ever decided to keep them longer just know they aren’t permanent 😉🫶🏽
@@creolejazz that’s true she said the exact same thing I I’m just afraid and so is she of how effective she would be in taking in out with little to no breakage as she have never done it on such small locks, but this is working out just fine. Again thx so much for letting os in on ur family’s hair journey we love to see it🫶🏾🫶🏾
Yes I am going to do this style also but not lock up. So I’ll wear them for about 5 months and take them out but I’ll interlock only once, so maybe around 2 or 3 month mark. I’ve taken out interlocks before. They are just inverted braids
@@mellochello77 yessss I use to do this with locs as well, I would keep them in almost a year and comb them out for health and growth. Plus it saves a lot of money ✨
Awesome job! I do a 4pt rotation for the majority of my microlocs, but I do a 2pt rotation on my smaller locs. I still see the Y with the locs with more rotations
@@creolejazz I also forgot to mention that a lot of my locs have unraveled too, so I braided the ends of my locs to keep them together instead of retwisting them. (I learned that tip from Tykara Ann and Kats Coils) I’ll have to go through my locs & braid the ends that are unraveling
This is an AMAZING detailed video! I installed micro locks on my daughters hair and have been extremely nervous about the retie process. YOU have made me feel more comfortable about doing her hair!😊 THANK YOU
Awwwe I’m sooo glad I was able to help u feel more comfortable 💕🥹 I try to record and explains things the way I would have liked it, it’s not a lot of detailed videos on reties 😩 & thanks for watching
YES! I truly appreciate your step by step way of explaining because I’m a hands on kind of girl… so it was perfect for me. I’m going to do the 2pt as well. I’ll be continuing to support
I’m so inspired by you! So I have 2 questions for you…..1. So you don’t have to do anything with her loose ends? 2. What if one of the twists comes a untwisted?
Awww I appreciate that so much 🥹💕 & I didn’t use to do anything to her ends but we did want them to stay curly so I used conditioner on the ends on wash days. 2. When the twist come toooo untwisted I just braided the ends
@@creolejazzthanks for responding. I started my daughters loc from your video a week ago. Do you have a video on how you wash them and your daily routine for maintenance. Thanks
Did you still plait your daughter's hair up top then do the two strand twist and then you interlocked it? Or did you just two stand twist the whole head?
Your explanation of the rotation process and how to know you're going the right way was the best I've heard so far. Thank you!
Awww thanks so much! I’m glad it helped 🥰
I think this style is so beautiful and save so much time for moms 😊

@@creolejazz awesome! Thank you so much! I have one more question….you only interlocked when you did the retie and not the installation, correct?
Correct ! I braided the roots and twisted down for installation & after 4-6 weeks I did her first retie.
@@creolejazz that’s what I was thinking but wanted to be sure!
This is perfect am trying this on my daughter during holidays
Yessss thank you love 💗 & I only used water and oil.
Looks amazing 🤩
Thanks 🥰
Soooo beautiful & so detailed 😍.. how hard would you say it would be to do this on myself?
Thanks so much ! & I don’t think it would be hard at all especially if you stick to a 2 point rotation.
This was perfect❤
Thanks so much 🥰🫶🏽
Love this video. So clear. Thanks 😊

How long did it take you to Interlock the whole head?
You done a great job.

Awwww yess I love that for her 🥹🫶🏽
Thanks
On the initial installation video you just braided and twisted, no rotations right?
Correct ! I didn’t do a 2 point rotation until her first retie around 6 weeks after I installed them.
Thanks for this Question. This was exactly what I had to ask too.

Did u use any locking cream or oil
Hi. What do you use to keep the hair moisturized?
Hii ! I just use water mixed with aloe Vera juice, oil mist, & Jamaican castor oil for scalp
@@creolejazz Thank you Queen
Ur so welcome ☺️🫶🏽
Nice
Thanks 😊
Where did you get your tool?
Amazon !
Did wash her hair before retighten?
Yesss, I did the braid and band method
How long did it take you to do the retie
It was pretty quick so if I didn’t keep stopping. It would have took 4-5 hours.

Thanks Love 💗 😊
How long should you wait for a retie
About 6 to 8 weeks ✨
@@creolejazz okay thanks soo much

Or did you just two stand twist the whole head?
Yess I braided the root, then 2 strand twist, then interlocked 6 weeks later
By any chance if you wanted to take this down is it possible?
Yesss of course, I wet the hair & use conditioner to slowing comb them out. It just takes patience ✨
