People kinda dismiss this small arc because it can feel like filler but I think that totally overlooks how amazing of a villain Gentle is in his own way. It's hard to even call him a villain honestly
people who dismiss this arc have no idea how important it is and they have no clue how the mha world works
plus the fact that horikoshi gave gentle and la brava the power of love to overcome their enemies, is a major key of them helping deku get rid of AFO and making sure other that have failed at becoming heroes don't have to suffer like them.

I don’t think Deku would be in any trouble legally for going after Gentle on his own, since he has his provisional hero license and this falls within acceptable usage of it. He MIGHT face trouble from the school for not calling them directly and letting them handle it, but he’s probably willing to take that risk if it means saving the festival from cancellation.
provisional license seems like a training driving license which means he needs someone with an actual license with him to do the job
@@iFrizzy If I remember correctly, the Provisional Hero Licenses allow the students to do two things:
1: Do official hero work with/under a pro hero's supervision or as an "employee" of their agency. IE how Mirio and Deku were on patrol by themselves (and not with Nighteye) when they bumped into Overhaul.
2: Act as a licensed hero in case of an emergency. He doesn't NEED a professional hero around to stop a villain from committing a crime, if there's no one else available to do it.

That video at J-Store wasn't live, it was a recording. Her edit was rather sloppy as she left in the part where he said to edit it out.
The festival might be the worst time to attack UA, as they beef up security for such events. You thought the League would attack during the sports festival, but they just stayed home and watched it on TV. I also question if Shigaraki even knows who Gentle is. He isn't very famous and its really just dumb luck that Deku knows who he is.

@@anuragsosawelll before allmight and all he was the top hero but died due to an accident we dont know his quirk but its most likely strength related and theres a theory that crimson riot is a nomu and has been turned to gigantomachia which could be very possible as they look kinda similiar

I liked how we got some moments like this in war arc.
That beam deku was holding up can be close to 2000 lb maybe it was lighter because of gentle but still quite a display of strength.

It'll be interesting to see how these two react to Gentle and La Brava's relationship after the next episode. I personally love these two. Gentle's a legit great guy, just a bit stubborn and lacks foresight, and La Brava just wants to support him and his future endeavors. Honestly, first time watching this I was rooting for Gentle to break in. Still am.

tbh this was def one of the hardest fight deku has to face imo from how gentle and labrava are both so dedicated to what they do just like deku who is dedicated to protect

Gentle had a valid point too, the school has been attacked so many times, once in season one where two techears were hurt badly, then at the camp, even a student was kidnapped, they fought as students the hero assassin, a student and a consultant just lost their quirks, that festival shouldn't be celebrated
This and the next episode are on my top 5 episode of MHA list

i disagree, the dub doesn’t do the emotions justice and the voices don’t match some characters honestly.
