I narrowed it down the best I could by scanning the codes. I originally was going to replace the throttle position sensor which is part of the throttle body, but was not a guarantee to fix it. The cost of the throttle body from Auto Zone was in the $150 range. So I purchased all the part (throttle body + gasket, map sensor, mass air flow sensor, and gas pedal) from eBay for around $113.00. So I thought it only seemed reasonable to just replace them all so I could eliminate the issue and still save money.

It seems to me that the problem has to do with the air/gas stoichiometry. It could be a vacuum leak causing unmetered air into the engine. I don't think that it is possible for all these parts to go out at the same time. was the problem fixed in the long run?
Well, THE NUMBER ONE PROBLEM IS THE POOR DESIGN OF THE ENENIE COVER. It holds the crank case tubing as well as the air intake is known to leak and suck in air so your dead on. Little over kill but oh well. I just worked on a POS like this. Just a air leak. Poor mechanic prior did not tighten it down. Smh.
I got a problem where I changed the air box and the esc keeps coming on but the throttle is still good I can only drive up to 30 ml until the esc pops back up and the car turns off on me . Should I change the throttle body?

No crank no start. Replaced starter, ignition switch. Odb code reads ignition circuit malfunction and engine control ignition relay circuit malfunction. Pwr reduced when in on position . Anybody have an idea what?
@@29tamie the fuse box inside the engine bay needed to be replaced, there was water damage inside. unlucky for me I took the entire engine wire harness off BEFORE I checked the fuse box. Damaged the wire harness and Chevrolet discontinued that specific harness so I just had to take a loss and sale the car for scrap. Was very difficult finding a replacement.
@@mikebronson5713 I have the same issues. I cleaned the throttle body and my car accelerates at around 2-3000 rpm when in park and nuetral as well as accelerates on its own when in drive to abiit 40 mph. Can that pedal sensor cause this?

The very first time I replaced my throttle body and did not replace the gasket it did the same exact thing. So I took it off and took it back to Auto Zone. I then order a throttle body, gasket, mass air flow senor, map sensor, and throttle sensor (gas pedal) off ebay and replaced it all. The best thing about this is that I order all those part and they saved me $40 when compared to purchasing the throttle body from Auto Zone.
last hope is trying a new pedal and wheel bearings. Did the rest + vvt solenoids, o2 sensors, intake manifold gasket, throttle body & throttle gasket & the rubber throttle seal, new ignition coils, new spark plugs

Now the problem is when in low idle , like when we stop in signal or stop board sign My car engine is stalling and shutting down . I have to put my foot on break and accelerate the engine in signal to control the stall . I went to mechanic , he changed throttle body but stalling doesn’t stopped and even became more . When driving in highway car is giving jerks . Someone kindly help me how to solve the problem. No codes are showing only Service ESC and traction in dashboard.

My 2011 drives then throws reduce engine power/trac control and shakes and won't go over 20mph. You turn it off for an hour then it will drive again. Took it to a mechanic and they said they took apart the throttle body and checked the engine harness and they don't know what's wrong with it. They made it worse, now it dies shortly after starting a long with the problems it already had.
Mine is doing exactly the same thing, i drive it for 15 min then when i get to a stop sign or red light and i try to go forward it moves really slow, I have to pull over shut it off and turned back on and it will drive again only for a short distance and then it will do it again… they told me to change the transmission oil, but I’m looking for other options
There is an info and return button on the left side of the steering wheel. Toggle through the options with the info button and make a selection with the return key
I can almost promise you that is was blockage in the crank case saying blow back. Also. Very stupid design motor boss. Where the cover seats sucks in air if not installed properly and that was most likely the issue I just did one. POS car haha, I reset all my throttle and reset learned it all, now it’s great, may need a VVT selenium also, I will see after oil change. That controls the lifters it has two on top the motor far right by coil packs. I hated this job, ughh. Nice video. Probably could have passed on a pedal.
I have the same car it also threw every code plus few more than what you mentioned . There was no way in hell every sensor went bad at the same exact time. I replaced the ground terminal and traced it to source of grounding hit it few times with wire brush and started it right up everything has been ok ever since this happened over 8 months ago

Same, ended up being the Mass Air Flow Sensor for me. I have a 2012 Chevy Malibu. The part itself cost around $140

I have not had this issue happen to me. Has your engine light came on, if so I would have it scanned to see what the code reads.

It's the steering torque sensor. Same thing happened to my car.
These cars are notorious for the electronica power steering to go out. Mine went out on this car and I finally decided to sell it.

Have you check for a bad wire, one that may have a bare spot from rubbing or cut in to?
Same thing just happened,mice chewing on the wires, starter, alternator new battery,nope mice

Could be an air leak around the gasket. Did you replace the gasket seal?
No I didn't but I did check it out and it looked pretty good. This is just puzzling. And I'm not losing power, the idle just high as hell.
