I've been trying to figure this out for months...years maybe. Finally, the window of knowing has been opened thanks to Jon. Most appreciated. Thank you!

MOoost Excellent!!! Thank you for naming the finger frets, and slowly and clearly describing all of the aspects. Now, I just have to make a sketched map so I can start plodding through all of it over and over and over until I can develop some form of similarity. It is very kind of you to help those of us who are struggling with this wonderful sound machine. You are a gift.

Sounds pretty spot on... I built him a cigar box guitar and the got the opportunity to jam with him. That was bucket list stuff

Thanks. I think that I get how this is done now. But its going to take alot of work to develop the speed that you need to make it sound good.

Jon, as you know, Tommy has and continues to play with many, many different guitarists from all over the world. It seems to me that he never says no to anyone. He does I'm sure, but you know what I mean. My point is, I encourage you to try and do a song with him whenever your schedules would allow. That would be awesome to add to your legacy. He's in his sixties --- so....
