And from the "too many games played" or "too old" dept., there's another 2D platformer (2017-2018 I'd guess) where you had a little scarf or ribbon where you're only a handful of pixels tall in a giant space, I recall the scale particularly, but the title escapes me. #usefulcomment
@@nocapsbb After combing through my collection, I'm afraid it's either older than I remember on physical media, perhaps it was a demo, or possibly a Flash-era game. Will continue to seek it out, but this might remain in the forever lost to time zone. I will however share if it does come to light.

Nice theme to center around. I have to say I enjoy the look of games where the playable character is quite small in scale to the world around them. What I mean, were it a third-person approach the player takes up very little fo the screen real estate. Also, this approach is very nice in 2D as well. I'm thinking of Ori at the moment because the player was quite small in scale. Not sure why I like this sense of scale, but I really do. I think it harkens to days in youth playing with small figurines. I'd love to see some recommendations around this.
I looooooved It Takes Two except for the story writing and how annoying the main characters could be but otherwise 10/10 wish I could experience it again. It was magical. Felt like I was a kid again.
I was so fucking happy to hear that ghost of a tale is getting a sequel soon. I really like the quaint and charm of the game
With the mention of "Pikmin" at the beginning, I'm surprised "Tinykin" didn't get a shout-out. I feel like "SkateBIRD" would fit well here too.

I love this theme, the Toy Story Kingdom Hearts level and Tinykin/Pikmin came into my head watching this aswell

"Below" is the first game I think of where the character appears tiny on-screen.
Shadow of Colossus, Solar Ash, Monster Hunter and praey for the gods are games that made me feel like a small bug.
