    Thanks for sharing review. Specially the Con#2 i.e. "Continuous Power Supply Requirement" is really considerable while going for this Dock.

    nice video ;)
    something about the type-c attached to the dock, you can actually replace that cable if you want. the bottom part is easy to remove, if for some reason something goes wrong with that cabe over time

      @TheDynamicCast  2 года назад +1

      Thanks. Do you mean the other end of the UBC C cable, which is actually fixed??

    • @Aduard
      @Aduard 2 года назад +2

      @@TheDynamicCast yep. At the bottom where you connect the power adapter, there is a cover hold by some screws. If you remove it, you'll see that the cable it's not soldered, it has the same conector from the outside. I changed the cable that came with my G5 with another that was more flexible (I find the stock one a bit stif) and no problems so far. It's a neat detail though

      @@Aduard wow... That's very helpful info...All this while I was under impression that if this cable goes bad for any reasons, the entire dock will be useless.
      Thanks for sharing...

      Haven't tried it on ipad pro but it should work as it has a usb C port. And this is a universal device.

      Thanks for the speedy reply sir, I m confused between hyperdrive Gen2 12 in 1 & this dock!

    • @TheDynamicCast
      @TheDynamicCast  3 года назад +1

      @@asura4209 hyper drive gen 2 12-in-1 is also good option as indicated in the video. However you will have to manage your own power adapter if you have to charge your device through same connection.
      In 12-in-1 you will get maxinum up to 85 W of power..
      If you connect your regular ipad pro charger, it will not be sufficient as the 12-in-1 needs 15W power for its functioning.

      @TheDynamicCast  3 года назад +1

      I think there is a BIOS option to disable charging after say 97%. This will help to avoid such problem. You can explore the same

      Generally the battery circuit prevents the over charging
