He builds the video like an infomercial but fails to show both docks port selection close up and side by side or all the dock features. I work in the IT dept for a large company that has both HP and Dell contracts. We have both these docks to support our HP and Dell computers. If your issued a Dell you get that dock and if your issued HP you get that one. My personal preference is the Dell equipment in general including the dock. The computer you get where I work is based on your position and what we have in stock at the moment of issue so I've had lots of time to compare. I like the Dell so much I bought two for my home setup. Dell equipment in general has less failures, better build quality, and better manufacture support especially in the warranty dept. The dell dock profile fits under a monitor better, has better build quality, charges your laptop faster, and a more modern port selection. That modularity he shows on the Dell actually gives a possible upgrade route in the future such as a possible usb4 upgrade or whatever comes down the road but no guarantee. When used with a Dell computer there is a power button on the dock that will turn your computer on and off without needing to open the lid and press the power button and move stuff around on your desk. Both work great with a Macbook and can personally confirm the Dell fully supports dual monitors on one connection because of the Thunderbolt connection. Something many docks can't do with a Mac. Computers without thunderbolt such as the surface book may be limited to 1 external display. If you work in an office with older cheaper monitors that still use vga, the HP will be your winner due to it's port selection with older ports. My advice... Unless you have an HP or need the older ports get the Dell.

You talk about Mac as if it's god's blessing to the humans or/and you say with a strait face that I don't miss a headset connection for me I don't even want a Mac even if I get one for free! for me you only like things that look good, if it has quality nah that is overrated For me this is a example how a brainwashed person talk, good luck selling your docking stations!

It really depends on the device! Some Samsung phones allow you to plug in with an USB-C connector.
