The way I said "I fucking knew it!" 😂 I knew he was his father because when Ciri's hallucination of her life created by Voleth Meir crumbles, only his father didn't turn into ashes, depicting he's still alive and when Geralt said how Nilfgaard could have known Ciri before anyone else.
I had played Wild Hunt and never knew this. I thought she was an adopted daughter or something so I was wondering how she went from her real parents to the Emperor of Nilfguard.
In the books you were not able to know who was Emperor Var Emyris, until he meets him RIGHT at the very end and he catches a name to a face from the scene in which Geralt claims the law of surpise. To me, this was an unbelievably massive e disappointment and a total letdown they released the secret this early. They could've not have shown a name to a face for a long long long time. Completely unnecessary and making me realize why Geralt will be leaving Witcher.
@@lucienoros4808 it's one of the FEW changes wich really makes sense: in books we cannot see him, but we can witness events he participates in, his story, his way of thinking, his actions, his interactions. Not to mention that 1) come on, we all know this, after books, games, whatever - it's not really a secret, and 2) it's a series, a fast-paced thing, most of the viewers would have forgotten him completely for the last episodes of the final season, and instead of "oh wow" the effect would be like "eeeeeerm, who? ah whatever, he is gone again, nevermind"

Whole thing just feels less like the Witcher with each season all while Netflix milks it for every penny with terrible spinoff shows.
This was really an intimidațing scene but the gamer in me really wanted to see Charles Dance as Emhyr var Emreis.
Me too but the actor had to be young to have been with Paveta and cirri is also very young so it wouldn’t have made sense.
