I am absolutely awestruck with that recon factory. Immaculate and professional. Increadable love and dedication to a fantastic historical vehicle. Best regards from South Africa
Thanks, that was very interesting! After two Light 15s in the 1960s, we had a rusty 2CV, then a Dyane and an Ami 6 Break, and since then Minis, Fiats, Lancias, Alfa Romeos, VWs, Peugeots, Renaults, and now an Abarth 595. Still have a warm spot for the 2CV.
Are these original old engines or modern reproductions? Either way, who would have thought there would be such a demand because you don't see the old cars around. Maybe in Europe they're more common. Might be a fun project for a custom, sm., 1-person car.
Had 2 Dyane’s a long time ago. Everything was the rule of 70. 70 mph,70mpg, 70 thou from tyres. A amazingly effective vehicle.

This is how 2cv heaven looks like
Happy to see citroen2cv engine rebuild or recondition, I have 2cv of 1968 model but thinking to power up with 650 or 750cc.
Was it a body shell of a Citroen Bijou?
Very interesting! Hope there is a more detailed video of such a fascinating site?
Love the cat paw prints on that special car body! Is it a Bijou? The grille opening doesn't seem right.
Goooouuudddd .
Bravo
Good news! I have a 2CV powered LA FADIER 4x4 , too many other faster things to get built so this might be a great option for me.

Great to see.
I'm surprised. Downsizing was common already 50 years ago. And its again in modern motorisation
Can you convert these refurbished Citroen 2CV Engines to power small or ultralight aircraft, like a VW Beetle 'Bug'?.
It has been done yes.
I don't know if its actually worth it like the VW engines
Moto bike 2 CV la bike gnome Rhône
The shell is that of Citroen Bijou.
Only 207 made.
Or a 2cv umap?
@@leognst BETTER
Is that the body shell of a Charbonneau 2CV?
I think that's it! (79%) :-D , or it could be an "umap".....
Is the car without motor maybe a Panhard?
Call me "entitled" -- I want to see the 2CV back in production and available as a transportation option.
They look similar to a 2 cylinder BMW R650 motorcycle engine.
no s**t, Sherlock.
Is the mystery car a U.M.A.P.?
Yep.
I want a new one in 2024 in a same matter they was before
Das frage ich mich jetzt aber auch !? 😎
A Burton 2cv ?
I think it is, the 2cv engine is lighter simpler more reliable ,a no brainer for ultralight aircraft and autogiros.
Looks like a 2CV Umap
dial gauges for truing up cranks is what he meant to say,
Or seeing if cranks are running true…
A Burton is a 2 Doors car i believe
panhard ,upgraded 2cv engine, more gears, took minutes to reach record top speed
Obviously that body shell some ones idea of having a joke at Jensens expense.
The fibreglass body is from this Citroen uk 2cv based car, looking a little bit like a to hot washed ds
🥰🙏💪
It's aCitroen Bjou
Too bad Greta Thunberg do not understand how recycling should be done, the propper way.. :-(
🤦♂️🤡
name me ANYTHING she does understand... probably not even sure how shoelaces work...
@@paradiselost9946You said it… She understands absolutely nothing! 👍😅
Neither do our elected leaders who keep us out of the cities because we stink to much. Greta has the advantage of being cheaper.
@@paradiselost9946 bloody brilliant :)
The cinematography is very amateurish, the content is shallow. I wonder what was the purpose of this video
certainly not you complaining ;D
