Nice idea and always a pleasure to view information and details of the wonderful 2CV, look forward to the rest of the series.
Great video, really informative, keep it up.
I used to have one the same colour and age as this one. Named Poppy by the previous owner. I kept the name. Every time I see a video like this I miss her and the fun times I had in her.
Lots of love for the 2CV!❤❤
Helpful video. That 2cv looks almost new.
Thank you so much for this!👍👍
For a bit of fun, these two late-septuagenarians are collecting a beautiful white/green 2CV Dolly this week, having last owned an identical one (and a canary yellow Dyane before that) some 30 years ago. Memory being what it is (fading!), this is a very timely video to have just found, so thank you. The boot cover and car cover are of interest, so we will be looking into those, along with other desirable items, like a bulb kit. Can't wait. 🙂. Cheers. Malcolm (Pendleside)
Such a great tip with bending the vent flap, mine didn't seal properly at all, just done it and now it does! Brilliant
Great tutorial. Citroen had wonderful little things which are just genious.
Great video! I look forward to the next one. Good tip about taking the key out so you don't spend all day spinning the handle, trying to get in.....
Also, very good idea to check the window is secure when it's opened - I nearly lost a finger when mine was not secured and came down with a force! OW!
Great video I will be down week after next to discuss purchasing a 2cv as now really want one.
We drove one from Essex to Holland then all the way down to the Sahara - on the way back we went to Italy and over the Alps our final night at Ypres - 28 days 11 countries - never missed a beat - our only gripe was the yellow headlight bulbs were very dim if we did it again we would go at least halogen or maybe LED
Even on a mint car like that, the bonnet catch is already rusty! I remember brand new ones at Croxdale Citroen, with rusty catches (and rear fog lamps full of water!).
I subscribed to the newsletter, but I have not seen any link to the 'e-book Buyers guide'!
Greetings from greece and happy new year!
I need your help and experience with something.I have 2 weather rubber seals for b pillar and 2 black brackets and two metallic collor brackets also.how is the right way to attach this rubber?
If i place the rubber with the metallic colour bracket on top and attached it on the b pillar door closes ok but if i attach the rubber on door also with the black bracket and rivets or clips (doesn't matter with what you will attached it) door not closing.
. which is the right way to attach this rubber? Only in on side or both sides?
