2004 GSXR dealer codes (error codes)

I noticed on the RUclips that there is a lack of videos for how to get a k4 Gsxr into dealer mode so I figured I would show you how to get your bike into dealer mode while in the process of checking my dealer codes and throttle position sensor on my bike (Sarah)

K7 owner here, if I did not troubleshoot this indicator, would it give problems to the engine performance? we changed the pipe already, Im pretty sure its the SET valve indicator... thanks.

Throttle position sensor was not in the correct position.

My bike is shooting c00 code but still won’t start. Please help. Changed starter, starter solenoid ,and battery and all fuses.

you line is high because the bike is set for fast idle and has the throttle open slightly. that should be checked/adjusted with the engine warm and runnig

Yes I did. C00 is what it displays when you have no codes and are changing the TPS
If the f1 light is on before you check there will be a different code

A quick question for you, what happens if you plug the wrong wires during dealer mode ? I think I may have screwed up because now I’m not getting fire to my coils

what if you get a completely blank screen it still lights up but it shows nothing at all

So I didn't start a fire but I did plug in the able in the wrong wholes. I watched a different video it was the first time I heard about this and try to make time to find the code of why my f1 light came on. So I rushed and I heard it short well burn something. I've been looking all over the Internet and can't find anything about what I burnt. Any ideas?

YES IVE DONE IT A FEW TIMES LOL CHECK YOUR FUSE BOX, YOU SHOULD BE OK IF YOUR BIKE DOSNT START WHEN YOU TURN THE KEY AFTER THIS YOULL ALSO NEED TO CHECK YOUR MAIN FUSE ITS BEHIND THE CLEER PLASTIC COVER NERE YOUR FUSE BOX.
IF YOU YANKED THEM (THE WIRES) OUT AS SOON AS YOU NOTICED SOMETHING WAS WRONG YOU SHOULD ONLY AT WORST CASE HAVE A BLOWN FUES

My shows a black wire with a white stripe and a white wire with ared stripe. Thes are the two where the ports are next the others are grey and orange with a white stripe. 04 gsxr 600 are these the same wires.

Well had code c00 which apparently means you have no codes lol started the bike then c46 pops up, removed the baffle on aftermarket pipe and codes gone no f1 light all good GSXR K1 1000. cheers

ok sumbody help i have a 2004 gsxr 1000.... went rideing today an went it just shut down try to start it back up none....lite cum on fuel pump comes but it just wont start all it do is turn ova..... who can hlep
