BACKCOUNTRY SKIING; On Mt Yotei in Niseko

  • We were lucky to have great weather and skiing earlier in February on Niseko’s Mt Yotei. This is a dormant volcano which is also known as ‘The Fuji of the North.’ There aren’t many days where you have clear weather on the mountain and such good powder at a high elevation. On the right day, the skiing off Mt Yotei is some of the best in Hokkaido. On this day we were very lucky.
