In this snowboard vlog we're hiking for powder in Niseko, Japan. We have the perfect powder conditions with lots of snow, icy cold temperatures and blue sky. We're hiking to the peak of the mountain for the first time. There are high winds which is making for a difficult hike. At the top we dropped in to find deep powder snowboarding and incredible lines thought trees and off pillow drops. We ended the day with a trip to a Japanese onsen which helps to heal your body after a hard day of powder snowboarding. Thanks for watching!
“The key in trees is to make as many turns as possible...”

Gotta love Kevin! Haha
Man looks so sick guys!! I have to go on the next trip with you guys 🙌🏼
Ya!!! U should be there
i wish these videos wouldn't ever end! japan looks like the place to go!
7:20 - song is "return to innocence" by Enigma
(for that person that was about to embark on an hour long search to find it online)
Henry Schmidt thank you!
you guys are awesome! I started watching you guys a week before I got back into riding after 8 years. just got home from killington IM BACK it's like riding a bike you never forget!!!
There is a mixed onsen where you can bring in beers and even sneak in a GoPro , at niseko Grand hotel, they also have one of the best sea food buffet. And right outside 400m on the elft there is a famous ramen restaurant.
David’s face 8:08 😂 I will never hear that song again without seeing that face in my memory
Onsen suggestions
1. Niseko Grand Hotel.
A little out of town but it's mixed, outdoors and pretty big
2. Hilton in Niseko Village.
Not mixed but nice outdoor setting.
Additional relaxation? Yoga at the Ki Niseko in Hirafu.
Love snowboarding and love this channel!! 🏂🏂🏂🏂
So rad. Such a good thing to hear I’m off to myoko in japan Thursday. Defs worth looking at one day
Cool I’m going snowboarding on mlk day for the first time so I just rewatched you snowboarding for beginners and I loved it ! Thx !
Haven't been to Niseko for 14 years, back to Japan for trip number 10 this weekend and that Peak run is still an all time favourite. Hopefully you get some proper Japanese snow while you're there.
Man you guys look like you are having so much fun!!! So jealous our budget kept us from going to japan. Definitely miss the snow now hahaha thanks Kev
I can't believe you have Renai Circulation on your playlist!
Looks great! Finished my first day in Niseko today, great day (for not being any fresh snow)!
Going in less than a month for 2 weeks. Got my lineup of edits to watch the week before to get hyped.
This channel makes me so hyped to shred

Dope bro I can't wait to go to Japan for that Japow!!
A lot of laughs and good vibes. That's awsome.
David’s ramen slurp was all time! 🤣
Looks so sick... I was so close to book Japan trip this season... but had to move for personal reasons! I always wondered how do u guys afford these trips... every snowboarder I talk to in Vancouver... knows it channel!
Bhavesh Ratanpal snowboardprocamp is the biggest channel on RUclips in snowboarding.... that’s how he affords snowboarding lol
You have to try the indoor snow park in Dubai UAE
Love the Japan vids!
If u stop the video at 4:37 you can see someone with a snowbike in the top left corner
Never expected to hear Renai Circulation here lol XD
Go ride that volcano!!!! Would be so cool!
Omg so epic! You guys are so much fun, I want to be there to rock it on Enigma too!
Damn dude it is absolutely beautiful there, Japan is definitely on my bucket list...
YES! Japow counter! 100% necessary!

Love this! What camera do you use with what quality?? GoPro hero 7 black? 2.7/60??

DAVIIIIIIIIID KEVIIIIIIIIIIN
Headed to niseko in less than a month. Stoooooked!
Ah man, you have to share that playlist somehow. Is it on spotify?
Kevin on a powder day like this do you keep your bindings set to goofy or do you have them set to ducky?
Go out gate 4 and gate 11 those are the most epic parts of the mtn!
When you guys reference temperature changes, are you speaking in terms of Celsius or Fahrenheit? Also do you guys ride with that wonderboom speaker, seems like a health hazard if you were to fall on it as they are pretty durable and hard?
@@bigbirdarab Nope I thought you were wrong because canada uses the metric system, like the rest of the world. ruclips.net/video/-xJJUh7KfHs/видео.html From todays video, he indicates the temperature is celsius.
OH WHAHA, DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS ultimate hype up song
Kevin seems to be familiar with Ron Jeremy's works. hehe
sick edit !
Unbelievable conditions. Blue skies and powder?!
Share a link to the playlist please. Could use it on the drives from Barcelona to the Pyrenees.thanks
The best Japow song is evil car by yura yura teikoku, from the airblaster gone wild japan video. Wait for the drop...

Lucky guy’s !! I will send my video when a get to japan and you are with Rain and mud in USA !!! 🇲🇽😂❤️❤️❤️
ahahahahha David memeing the boys sooo hard
I want that onsen too.
How deep was the snow approximately?
Do you guys have the Ikon Pass? I've been debating between either getting that or the Epic Pass. -- Out of California!
4:53 Your backpack was open haha!
When are you guys going to strawberry, blueberry and banana in Hanazono?
You are lucky having a fine day
4:03 EPIC !!!!!
Keep safe guys
6:50 David is 10cm from merging with a tree
Johan Nilsson
Riding a diy board! So sick!
So jealous of these guys
Snowboarding in japan is so sick. I have been several times
Ron Jeremy would be proud
Dope channel!!! How do you like using the gopro 7 vs the gopro 5 with gimbal? Any pros and cons?
With the gimabal they're pretty similar. The video quality on the 7 with brightness and contrast is much better! Without the gimbal the 7 is much more stable too!
Hey, what’s the balaclava you’re wearing?
Any chance you guys are hitting up house of powder?? Def should!
omg!i must visit this resort one day !
Ive been wanting to ask, what is up with the snowboard cover things they give you when you guys get on the lifts? is it to prevent some like scratching the walls or something?
Fresh!
Hi Kevin, I'm heading to Japan with some friends and we were wondering about avy gear. None of us are bringing any, I heard some areas require you to carry avy gear for off piste, is that true? If so, are there plenty of off piste areas we can check out without avy gear?
tbh mate i would say be at all times prepared if you're gonna do some serious off-piste, better safe than sorry. but if you must... check the resort's ski patrol boundaries, if you plan on skiing outside of it, avy gear is not a question it's a must. then again lad, even if you're close who knows how much it'll take for ski patrol to arrive and you only have 13 minutes to get someone out. you don't need 50 kilos of equipment, beacon and shovel will do, helps to have a first aid kit as well.
then again i don't know how it is in japan but in the alps off-piste can be very dangerous. have fun lad and enjoy your time in the pow
I wish I there. Looks awesome!
Powdeeer 💙❄️💙
Introduce those Portuguese guys!
Those Benfica fan ones ;) 🇵🇹
"Ron Jeremy would be proud!" XD
JaPOW is insane!!! Kevin, would love to know how you found eating vegan / vegetarian in Japan. I know we had quite a bit of difficulty finding food! Any tips?

Jeremy Jones would be proud if you guys wore beacons, any update on that? Seriously Yotei is no joke and there are a lot of photos on the local fb backcountry groups of big glide cracks in the crater from last week when this vid was uploaded.
