Amazing camera the a7iii. Shooting my family was never easier thanks to eye autofocus and face registration/focusing. Just found out a7iii is an amazing video cam as well! Autofocus based on faces!! I don’t have to do anything just frame the object!! Just amazing. A masterpiece of hardware.

Your recommendations are spot on. My first Sony was the a6500. A year later I got the a7iii. Love them both. I picked up the a7ii cause it was on sale & because I wanted a back up full frame. Though the video "features" are a disappointment, I do enjoy the images it produces.
Hi Michael, question for you since you have both. Im looking to trade in my Nikon D7100 to go fullframe mirrorless. Not looking to stay with Nikon since I like the direction Sony is going as a company. For a first time full frame user would you recommend going with the A7iii for $2k or A7ii for $900. Obviously the A7iii is newer and has some good upgrades, but if I dont do video do you think im missing out on too much? I like low light but Im wondering if the A7ii will be enough. Im looking at buying better glass with the money Im saving, for example im looking at the 24-105 f4 and later investing in a Sigma or Zeiss prime. Thanks

@@oguzakkaya4720 I upgraded to the a7ii. I really like it! One day I would like to upgrade to maybe the a7iv when that comes out. But when I look at the pictures I take with Im really impressed. I bought the 24-105 f4 lens with it. Looking to by a 35mm prime at some point.

I only have the a7 mark 1 to get me used to Sony by the time the a7s3 comes out, but I'm loving the stills it produces!
I wanted High Resolution on a Budget so i went a very different route. Bought myself a used A7r (Mark I) and bought a 35mm 1.4 and a 85mm 1.8 Lens to shoot with.
For Portrait and People Photography i´m quite satisfied and can now safe mony for the upgrade to an A7r Mark II. The Lenses will carry on.
36 Megapixel is plenty enough for me.

Hey need someones opinion. I have a a6500 been shooting my wifes soccer games with the 18 to 135 and 55 to 210. But i wanna get into real estate photographer. I want a full frame and have been thinking of getting a used a7. Would this be a bad idea. Or is the full frame worth it?

I've got the A6400 and I am just itching for a new camera. I like the idea of having one for video and one for photo and love the a6400 on the weeblil s for video. Hey Jason, great video - no surprise. Really like your efficient delivery - direct and effective. (Plus I can tell you're having fun!) Canon guy looking to make move into mirrorless and all my homework points to Sony. This video was excellent and I've zeroed in on either the A7RIII or A7III, A9 is out of range. I want the best of the 2 for my travel, which means some landscape, some city walking, along with my events - family stuff and occasional concert free-lance (which of course means low light). Video is not important to me. Also plan to keep the Canon 6D and several Canon lenses (24-70, 50, and 70-200) and get an adaptor. Plan to add an E-mount lens later this year. Between the 2 cameras, which would you recommend? Thanks in advance.

This video was very helpful. I am a hybrid shooter myself and own the Canon 77D (which is in repair right now, because the on/off switch is broken). I really want the A7 III. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a flexible screen like the Canon 77D.

Bought the Sony A7II camera a few months ago and found it a really strong choice for portrait/landscape photography but after attempting to use its video features I am now looking to upgrade to either the A7III or A7RII
enlightening to watch, Jason, and fun too, the right mixture! I upgraded from the A7i to the A7iii and more and more realize that it has been the right thing to do. Don’t do videos though but your presentation gets me interested to walk a step into this new direction. Peace!
