    I just ordered a food processor online to make salads. I've never used one before. But having finely diced/sliced foods makes the flavours mix more and easier to get down. :) Yay for health! All plants of course and I perfer oil free. I use squeezed lemon/lime and pepper for extra flabours.

    **Ingredients:**
    * 1/2 onion, chopped
    * 1/2 cup carrots, peeled and chopped
    * 1/2 cup yellow carrot, peeled and chopped
    * 1/2 cup orange carrot, peeled and chopped
    * 1/2 cup beetroots, peeled and chopped
    * 2 tablespoons olive oil
    * 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
    * Salt and pepper to taste
    * Fresh herbs (such as basil, mint, tarragon, and chervil)
    * Optional: fet cheese for serving
    **Instructions:**
    1. Preheat your Phillips Jamie Oliver food processor with the large blade attachment.
    2. Add the chopped onion and process until it is chunky.
    3. Add the carrots, yellow carrot, orange carrot, and beetroots to the processor. Process until they are all finely chopped.
    4. Add the olive oil, white wine vinegar, salt, and pepper to the processor. Process until the ingredients are well combined.
    5. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
    6. Transfer the salad to a serving dish and garnish with fresh herbs.
    7. Serve immediately, or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.
    8. Optional: Top with fet cheese for an extra burst of flavor.
    **Tips:**
    * Use a variety of colored carrots to create a rainbow effect in the salad.
    * Be gentle when processing the ingredients to avoid over-processing and losing their texture.
    * Adjust the amount of dressing to your taste by using more or less olive oil and vinegar.
    * This salad is great as a side dish or as a topping for grilled meats or burgers.
    **Notes:**
    * You can also add other vegetables such as bell peppers or zucchini to the salad for added variety.
    * If you prefer a creamier dressing, substitute mayonnaise or yogurt for some of the olive oil.
    * This recipe is a great way to use up leftover vegetables and make a delicious and healthy salad.

    Was thinking I made a big mistake getting this JO Processor .... I wanted sliced (NOT CHOPPED!) cabbage in the processor. YOU CAN! Change to the 'adjustable' slicing blade - adjusted 2 notches - very fine :) cut 5 cm slices from your cored cabbage and feed through in horizontal chunks. Not as 'perfect' as knife skills - but super easy and fast. In heaven with my new processor :D

    Jamie uses olive oil like its hand sanitizer. Dont think I've ever seen a recipe where he hasn't added in a "drizzle".

    A handful of that would be nice in pitta with some lamb or something . Oh maybe chicken . His hair looked nice . I’m not sure about him though . His laddish confidence is a little bit off putting I suppose . He was one of the few in the 90’s who was working hard on his career while the rest of us took lots of drugs .i think he might still be with the same wife , which is admirable these days . I have to admit I lost patience with him when he came for working class food . Those children in Scotland were enjoying their turkey twizzlers .

    Mother trucker didn't trim any of the veggies, i made this salad a while back, tasted like crap, really scratchy on the throat and felt like i was eating lawn trimmings. This guy is a TV chef, his food is a joke.

    Not with the hands please!!!!.. Nothing washed either!.....What happened to good hygiene?

      Time matters when making videos so they omit the obvious like washing veg and hands. Would be pretty patronising to start by showing us how to wash our hands don't you think? it's done before filming starts.
      Every single morsel of food is touched before it ends up on your plate, sorry to break it to you.
