Thank you for this video. It is one of the best ones we have seen displaying the power of this machine. Keep up the great content. 😊 This video deserves thousands upon thousands of views. Hopefully anyone on the fence of purchasing this machine will have an easy time making a decision that will alter their lives for the better.
Isn’t this machine just way too much fun ? For cabbage, I use the shredding blade loaded through the top. That way everything is more evenly sized. Love this machine ! Thanks for the video.
I honestly didn’t even know it was in existence and stumbled across it at Christmas. I tried to find some videos and there were not many available. After getting it, I found it really changed I life in the kitchen, giving me so much extra time. Due to the lack of videos, I decided to share a video with others! Thanks for the tip with the cabbage! I am glad you love it too!

@@SarahsCreativeCorner4U hi sarah i recently purchased paradice 16 food processor and finding it difficult in dicing veggies as everything gets struck in the dicing grid and cleaning is so.....much pain even when using the pusher to push the struck pieces in grid blade.some times veggies are jamming in dicing blade and machine is shaking a lot......how are you managing to dice veggies?can you make a video exclusively on dicing veggies using these different dicing blades?
hello, thank you. how loud is this machine? also, if you wanted cabbage shredded for like coleslaw rather than pulsed, do you feed it in the top through the shredding blade?
I was going to try shredding the cabbage but the pulsed gave such a similar texture, I haves tried it shredded. I don’t feel that it is overly loud. To me, it is similar to my Vitamix.
Hi, I got mine from Amazon. I put the links below. I bought both the Breville Sous Chef Peel & Dice Food Processor and the Breville Dicing Kit which was an optional attachment. I am getting ready to post two more videos. One where I used it to prep vegetables for stir fry and the other that I used it for lettuce wraps! Subscribe and you can be notified when they come out! I am glad you enjoyed the video! Is the base heavy to carry in and out of cabinets if we use couple of days a week?if we have space on counter, do you suggest to leave on counter or place in cabinets if we use food processor couple of times per week?
Hi, I tried to peel carrots with it and didn’t have much luck. I do peel potatoes with it. They are not perfect but it saves so much time! Anytime I need to peel more than 8-10 potatoes, I use it! It works amazing! I did 10 lbs the other day and then thinly sliced them for scalloped potatoes for an event with my daughter’s school. Everyone raved about them! It is such a time saver! I love the peeler. It doesn’t peel potatoes perfectly, but it does well enough for me. I would estimate that it peels about 90%-95%. If it is unusually shaped, then it does less. I’ve got a video that I am going to post. Subscribe and it will come out this week!

I think it would just depend on how often you use it. I pull mine out once or twice a week. When I have time to cook, this gives me added time to my day. I also often cook for my parents and neighbor. This allows me to prep larger quantities in no time at all.
@@SarahsCreativeCorner4U Thank you for the response. It's a tough call seeing as how there are some manual mandolines and choppers that look solid. But you are right, there appears to be no comparison in terms of speed and volume with the Breville.
@@candorsspot2775 While the price tag of this machine may be a bit hefty at the surface, the value that it provides as demonstrated in this outstanding video makes it a simple decision. We purchased ours along with the extra dicing kit which we will be using today for the first time. Thus far we’ve only used the machine a few times but in those few times it has blown our minds at how quick it does things that would take so much longer. This product needs to be evaluated from the time saving aspect, quality of the machine, and the life changing impact it can have. People can spend $15-$20 on salads in some areas in Chicago and after about 20 times of doing that, they could’ve bought a machine that can create their own powerful salads. That alone makes it worth it.
@@windycitytwins That's what I was afraid of. I do see some ingenious looking mandoline devices, but given I already have the processor, it might just make sense to go all in. Definitely better for healthy food prep. Thanks.

The best demo of the Breville machine I have seen online thank you so much!!!
Thank you so much!!
You notice she is doing this one handed and it is easy!! ...can't wait to get mine..

What a kind comment! Thank you! I made it because I couldn’t find many videos! I am glad it was helpful!!
Great video!!! You know what you are doing!!
Thank you!
I always use slicing disc for cabbage. Quite intrigued with using the blade
I haven’t used the slicing disc for cabbage!
How do you put it away?! I can’t get the main storage case to sit on top properly. The peeler is in the way. Help!!
Look on the peeler and there is an arrow. Line up the arrows and it clicks into place and sits correctly!

Hi. How do you find the 8mm dicing grid performance? Do you get anything stuck on the 8mm dicing kit a lot of times compared to the 16mm kit?
I don’t find that anything gets stuck on it anymore often than the other discs. The cleaner tools help a lot!

But do these attachments actually come with the machine you're reviewing or did you buy them separately?
The Peel & Dice Food Processor comes with one dicing attachment. You can buy an additional kit with two more.

We have a cabinet we leave it in. I would love to leave it out but do not have space on my countertop.
