thanks daniel, your music has allowed me to get closer to my soul, it has helped me not to fall into solitude, but rather to make it my strength. I would like to have more friends to share and talk about your music.. I hope one day to meet you, to give you a big hug. you are my mentor.
@@iceydaywalker9198 hello, it's always nice to find people who have the same feelings about this artist, one day we will all meet again at the end of time, we are in a particular situation, but the music of opn has transformed the solitude of this quarantine into a trip to other spaces, how are you?
What is the source of your avatar? Is there any relation or the cover art of Floating Points Vacuum Boogie EP, or is there a deeper meaning to both that I don’t understand?
well, I've been doing thug hands and going "damn!" for the first 34 minutes... think I'll keep going on this one... now I'm at the end, it's like a total delightful Alice in Chains on LSD song. Man, this album is a top-tier affair.
Wow, after reading your comment, I looked up Bruton and listened to some of those songs. Fucking awesome stuff! What is Bruton Music Library, like a collective of musicians or is it like soundtracks to something? Whatever it is, it's some awesome sounds. I could listen to that kinda stuff forever.
Tuan Jim From scant research it looks like basically corporate music created as content to sell out for ads, movies, industrial safety videos and so on... i cant tell you if Bruton is that muzak or an art project, but it sure passes for all the above.
His first album's cassette release was actually credited as 'magic oneohtrix point never'- which happens to be the name of his most recent album, it's referencing Magic 106.7 I believe - you're right!
fiñoño Mastropiero probably not a good idea if it makes him want to break stuff lol... you won’t like this music anymore on acid sir don’t listen! to this! I love it tho personally
I'm sorry but I can't control whether an ad plays or not. I already have 7 copyright claims on this video, and because I stated that I own nothing (description), and that I haven't attempted to monetize the video yet, RUclips has let me keep the video up for everyone to listen. Here's an adblock installer (software that blocks all advertisements) that only works for Chrome that I have which I recommend you use; goo.gl/VV3k5H
This energy is carrying me into an emotional event horizon

we can be friends! i also love OPN, and wish i had more ppl in my life who shared this interest, and other interests of mine. how are you?

@@jeanfrancoisnelson Hi john, it's a Sun Ra reference, but thanks for helped me to discover the Floating Points ep

album art is an homage to bruton music library

just looked into it..... trippy af
the greatest synth work
my favorite OPN release, start of the album is like ascending to another plane, similar to some of his work under Dania Shapes!
you can listen to this album a thousand times, theres always something new about it to discober
first track is really really satisfying
like electronic steve reich
it's like Terry Riley with his fingers taped together!
check out caterina barbieri
@@flowerpower111 goddamnit yes, thanks for the amazing recc
1:38 - Ships Without Meaning is like Fripp discovering FruityLoops . nice
have you ever heard of sven grunberg ?
If not , give it a try
@@mauveblanccelestrium8888
Ah yes.
Love his stuff.
that last track took me by surprise - nice one.
Это прекрасно! Особенно для программирования.
''when i get back from new york'' is like being on an elevator that transports you to the top of the universe
I like how Terminator Lake seems inspired by Ryuichi Sakamoto's music for Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, especially Beyond Reason.
Feels like the start of a journey
Needed this lovely sound in my life
thank you
why have i never heard this one?
i love opn
Memory Vague part 2? 🎉🎉
I really want to hear more weird acoustic stuff like the last track. Can anyone recommend any? Particularly who also use synth weirdness like OPN.
try CFCF radiance & submission
Ok cool, thanks for the tip; checking them out now.
Probably Grouper. Specifically the album Dragging a Dead Deer Up a Hill.

tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight 🌳
dude weed bro
Another great album
shouts out bruton
is the artist's name supposed to play on a radio station? We had 106.1: KISS FM! I find myself fascinated by the inscrutability of the name.

@@ceohannahbannanah1238 thank you for the info! Hey, I know that name--you're all afoot in these parts!

so why exactly do people compare this to death grips

There is a lot of overlap in their audience, and if you listen to OPN albums like Garden of Delete there’s some similarities there, perhaps.
15:00 = Boulder dash (Amstrad cpc 6128...(:-))
this guy should collab with comtruise
Don't look up what being ''drawn and quartered'' means.
It's where someone draws a picture of you, and then tosses a few quarters at you, not so bad
Boards of Canada !
it's like 40 minutes of BoC interlude tracks
God damn, what a compliment
Pseudo Lain nice
OPN sounds nothing like BOC.
18francesco18 agreed. OPN and BoC are both total masters of music making, but they sound very different. Hauntological music is a wide genre.
clickbait. close to no grand piano in here. maybe none!
I'll never understand that guy's music. I respect it, but at the same time it annoys me so much it makes me want to break stuff. Don't know why.
drop acid with this album and just let it go
fiñoño Mastropiero probably not a good idea if it makes him want to break stuff lol... you won’t like this music anymore on acid sir don’t listen!
to this!
I love it tho personally
stop putting adds! it's not your work!
