@@debrazahner9523That’s great! I have always loved the color red. I think a pop of red here and there is just so nice . My eye is just drawn to it. I love it! 😊❤️
I also bought the Japanese jelly roll and will wash the. Now after reading the comments here. The other so called pure cotton for quilting was rubbish, so light weight, flimsy and see thru thatI wouldn’t risk putting it in a quilt.
I bought the Japanese Bronze 7x9 inch fabric from Temu in black, red, and dark blue. It felt stiff and rough. I laundered it with Tide pod and color catchers in hot water and dried in a hot drying. What I found is that it is very colorfast and feels like normal quilting cotton. Shrinkage? None, all the fabric measured the same, before and after. I can say that the Temu fabric I bought was the same as compared to fabric shop cotton.
@@linzjan4276 I tested 21 pieces of the fabric to know it was the same over a large sample. No, because the fabric they offer is very limited is design and yardage and I'm not interested. Most of it is precuts and what is listed as "jelly rolls" are only 20" not WOF. Don't follow the headlines for all, look at all the pictures and sizes carefully. Also offering a precut for $4 is sometimes click bait, because when you open the item, there are choices. The price might for mini-charms, a higher price for charms, still higher for layer cake size, and so on. Also, fabric designs pictured are not available or only the low price for one fabric pattern and the other patterns are much higher. I find this on many of their items other than fabric. I like Temu for the prices but study the listings carefully so you know what you're getting. Also,Temu offers 30 day free returns and usually free shipping.
The smell, I'm guessing is some sort of chemical to stop any chance of nasties like bedbugs, scabies etc being spread. I have got stuff from temu and there is a definite smell, that I have also noticed on any clothing or fabric items for thrift shops in my country. and yes it does dissapate after a while.
Awww that stinks ((Literally).Mine doesn’t stink at all now that it’s been aired out. I still haven’t washed it yet, and I’m hoping it softens up a little bit. Thanks for sharing. 😊❤️
Cute project. I love watching you, you seem like the nice gal from next door.
Glad you liked the project.Thank you so much for watching!😊❤️
Red is my favorite color also.
