Every time I move on to my next grade I always make sure I have your videos sorted in the same order as RSL Grade 3 as I always play to your videos. If I struggle with a particular section I can just slow it down and watch your movements. So easy to follow and you make it so enjoyable, I even used your fill on the Maggie May track in my Grade 2 exam. Even though I have a teacher, I'd be lost without your videos, thank you Mike 👏❤️
Mike barnes really has the enthusiasm to play drum he is a legend and his videos are short on talking so it's good because more drumming than talking he is really great

The ones I played here are just examples - as I say at the end of the video, I just made these up on the spot - have fun creating your own fills for this section, that's the point! I do get that drummers often find this tricky at first, I did too when I was starting out - but just start with something simple that fills the space and marks the time, then you can elaborate out from there as you get a bit more fluent.
