Olivia, thank you for such an open-book video 💛 It’s so helpful to see the nutritional breakdown alongside the meals. I hope anyone pursuing a different path will keep in mind that we’re all just doing our best to figure out how to nourish and honor bodies and souls that didn’t come with an operating manual, and that we all learn and benefit when someone shares their experiences as candidly and generously as you do 🙏🌿

Wooo!!! Still killin it years later i see, found ur vids on trying to find how to maintain glowing skin/eyes on vegan diet as i have a coworker whos eyes are like lapis lazuli and skin is glowing, she inspired me to go vegan once again after my ex basically tried to brainwash me into thinking veganism was horrible after i was vegan on and off for 7 years (its not entirely their fault as i was on the fence about veganism..) anyways, its great to see people like you/my coworker who are vegan who prove that you can look amazing while on the diet, thanks ☺🙏

I've tried almost every type of diet under the sun, but the only thing that actually eliminated chronic fatigue for me is low carb intermittent fasting. I've never had so much energy and healthy feeling in my life, even compared to raw vegan. There is a large growing body of health professionals that are strongly promoting smart low carb diets and intermittent fasting combined with autophagy-inducing things like weight training and occasional multi-day fasts. Autophagy was an absolute game changer to me, it forces your body into self-healing mode and even destroys cancer cells. Bottom line if you are still having chronic fatigue, there is still something about your lifestyle that is not optimal. I'm no doctor, but your diet and lifestyle seems to be the opposite (high carb, light activity) of what leading doctors are telling people to do to transform their health.

I can relate about the fats. I have to be careful, for example I noticed if I eat half of an avocado in a salad I feel fine but if I eat a whole avocado in a salad it feels heavy.
Nuts are ok if I have about 1 or 2 tablespoons but if I use like a half cup of say cashews to make a zucchini pesto, it makes me queasy, same with seeds, a little is fine, a lot feels yuk.
And then, based on blood type, some nuts aren't beneficial, while others are.
I finally cured my eczema with the book, Eat Right For Your Blood Type.
He recommends Type O be carnivores, I ignore that.
But I do avoid the foods harmful to my blood type and it's been amazing.
Olivia, I wish you all the best on your healing journey ❤

Please keep running experiments on yourself every 3 months or so to try to overcome the chronic fatigue. Depending on the soil quality some foods are extremely deficient in iodine. Consider taking some iodine drops for 3 months and see how you feel. I also like the idea that you mentioned adding a few Brazil nuts each day. I finally found out that I personally have a slight allergy to tomatoes and sleep much much better when I cut out Tomatoes completely, however, I love them so much!

I left another message but deleted it. Because I don’t think I said what I meant correctly.
But essentially what I mean to say is that you seem very healthy. But you have been saying for years that you have chronic fatigue and are still detoxing.
What I am trying to say as advice is hard to put in to words because it’s not really of the mind.
But have you tried affirmations like “I am vibrantly healthy and have abundant energy” and actually believing it?
What I mean is that for me I have had chronic fatigue and depression as well. But a lot of it is all in the mind. Diet helps for sure. But that alone will never heal you if you don’t believe that you are healed already. You have to believe that you are healthy and have everything you need right now. Not believe that one day you will be.
There are people eating McDonald’s that are strong minded that have abundant energy. Maybe not the most ideal health but abundant energy.
Healing the body is dependent on healing the spirit and mind. You have to feel healthy on a spiritual level. And not let the confusion of the mind get in the way. There are things we can observe and make changes for sure but at the end of the day we cannot make sense of everything.
Why I say this is because I look at you and I see a very healthy body. You have lovely skin and are beautiful. But you have a vibe that you are stuck in your mind over something. I can’t say what that is and only you can say. But whatever it is you need to express it or let it go.
And above all just start following your truth and believe in yourself more. Not just the science or anecdotal evidence. Believe you are strong and have the energy to do whatever it is you want to do.

    • @OliviaBudgen

      Hi Steven,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share these words. I truly appreciate it 🙏🏻 and I’m so glad to hear you have recovered and are healthy now 🤗
I totally understand what you are saying, and agree that food isn’t everything when it comes to healing. I’ve done many, many emotional and spiritual healing processes over the years, including affirmations. But, in regards to what you said particularly, I personally didn’t feel it was authentic or in alignment to repeat words to myself that I honestly and intuitively didn’t believe. It felt like I was lying to myself and it was very draining.
Anyway, I’m pleased to share that I’ve been working with a brain rewiring coach to heal my nervous and limbic system which were extremely disregulated. That has been doing wonders so far and I’m excited to share my experience with that in the future ☺️
Also, please keep in mind that just because someone is attractive and has clear skin, doesn’t necessarily mean they are healthy on the inside 😌
      Thanks again! ❤️
