Would you have considered another BC, if they came with a 6mm hull and 21deg+ deadrise? ... I'm even seeing 8mm hulls as an option on some plate boats.
I still see your old Bait Ballin Barcrushers at the ramp sometimes, so they're still getting good use. I think one of them even wanted to renew your BM number so I gave them a new one.
Enjoyed watching these vid's about Barcrusher. Owned a 560c a number of years ago. When you were running your 670 did you use the bar flap to hold water in the hull to increase weight? I'm wondering if that smoothed the ride at all?
Nah man doesn't work for crap on these barcrushers. They just don't have the hull weight or something to make it work well. Other brands for example, it does work well.
Good stuff on keeping the old boat a bit longer, it’s always a shame when you sell a project boat after putting more hours into restoration then use something we tend to regret after selling
Second hand boat prices are still 30% higher than they should be, who would have thought 🤷♂️
Yeah man agree. Anything near new is way way over priced.
You are literally right on the money, great advice and insight about the boat market. Keep up these awesome videos, and your project boat videos
Thanks man will do

Yes I would. Absolutely. If BC went 6mm I'd absolutely be looking into them again. Even sticking with 20 deg.
But they seem set in their ways.....
100% on the current market, but it will hurt the makers very soon and prices will drop eventually
Hope so

Yeah good stuff man, it was causing me dramas trying to log on. I'm just going to call the Caribbean bait ballin also. It's causing too much confusion
Nice mate, glad you decided to keep it. Well done for timing the market too.
Thanks 👍

@@BaitBallin Thanks mate. Was thinking of getting 670c with bar flap. Hoping it would help. BTW enjoying your vids on new boat project.
Love your videos and content! 👍 Looking to upgrade to a 670HT.
Could you tell me what your BMT was?
Thanks
Hey man about 2000kg loaded on the road maybe a touch over
Great, much appreciated

Yeah I genuinely love this thing now and it's so close to being a great boat. So can't stop yet
@@BaitBallindon’t spouse you recorded a dummy spit and regretted publishing?
lovin' your vids bro. Keep it up
Thanks man. I've been extremely busy with sagas lately. But things are clearing up and the vids will start flowing again....
Must have been a hard hit would have been abit freak out for sure.
Honestly it was massive impact. And the boat held up bloody incredibly. Probably saved our lives and that's not an exaggeration.
A glass boat or pressed boat would have went straight to the bottom and we would have been smashed by the big swell coming in.
You not selling it now ?
Nah changed my mind. After getting a few new boat quotes and using mine again, reminded how good it rides
Glad to hear you are keeping the big girl for a while longer yet.
Yeah man. Used it on the weekend. It's honestly so bloody sweet that I can't part with it
Brilliant news.
Keeping it now? 👍
For now, for a season or so..... It's not finished. And I never quit until a job is done. Mostly. Hahaha
