The NEW YELLOWFIN YF70 EXTENDED CABIN has finally arrived! Is this the new king of 7M plate alloy fishing boats??? Have the 5mm boats been crushed? There is only one way to find out, subscribe for all the action to come as we put it through its paces and try run into the odd tuna and marlin in the process!!!
TESTED OFFSHORE: 6mm PLATE Yellowfin YF70 SOLID, SOFT, DRY unlike 5mm WET, NOISY BANGERS???
Ok lets see how the boat goes in its first trip offshore! Some clear take aways here and not exactly what we were expecting. We also try with Zipwakes on and off to see how much difference they make in a following sea.
In this video we are travelling between 20-25 knots and the winds were consistent at about 30kmh, swell was minimal.
One day Il get it out in some real nasty stuff and will see how it goes.
Weight, dead rise, width, hull shape all combine correctly in a good offshore boat.
At 1183kg with 20 degree dead rise this hull has enough weight to stay in the water and is very stable, providing a good confident, dry ride. Unlike the average 5mm boats which bounce in and out of the wate...

Yellowfin YF70, Surtees 700 Game Fisher, Bar Crusher 730HT - HULL SIZE Comparison!!!
Просмотров 2,6 тыс.21 день назад
Ok in the last video I did an LOA measurement of this boat and now its time to do a real measurement of the hull itself. Hull length should NOT include a bowsprit, pod or motor bracket (in my opinion anyway). Plus, to make things a bit more interesting I reached out to a few mates with a SURTEES 700 Gamefisher and BARCRUSHER 730ht which are the closest plate competition for this boat. If you ar...
YELLOWFIN YF70 MEASURED is it REALLY a 7M boat???

Ok as promised we throw the tape measure over the Yellowfin YF70 and go over all the dimensions in detail. We also talk about some of the key measurements which are very important for any well-designed stand-up game fishing boat such as freeboard, where more is NOT better in many cases. Don't get sucked in to buying a poorly designed boat that isn't designed by people who actually fish. Anyway,...

Ok today we collected the new boat and tested it in sloppy seas with winds at times gusting at over 50kmh, which isn't a great day for fishing but a perfect day for testing boats. Bertram Boat RESTORATION hints and tips
The santa fe can only handle 100kg on the tow hitch. Which really means it can only tow 1000kg with 10% being on the nose. Otherwise you would get too much weight on back of santa fe and puts evertything under pressure.
Absolutely! And it's also absolutely gutless under load. Like beyond gutless.
I had a smaller Surtees the 4.85 workmate , I found with the ballast full and motor trimmed into bring the bow down it was awesome in chop , but my top comfort speed was only 15-18 knots any faster it’d bury . But loved what it was for that sized boat
Can definitely work well in certain situations, but then not well in others. I tested mine in many different situations, I'd say it provided a positive improvement in 50/50 circumstances or less
How is stability at rest compared to a bar crusher and have the touched up on build quility yet?
Definitely not as stable at rest, the ballast systems definitely has it beat there! Yep this weekend coming Il do a video on the build quality. In detail
@BaitBallin nice. Is it still fairly stable? I have a 535c which had massive maybe 150 to 200 mill reverse chines. Along with the ballast system it's as stable as a brick.
@SamDavis-d3v yeah it's still very stable. I've also owned a 535c. Good boats. Punch above their weight, one of their better models.
They sure do. We took ours out to the shelf the other day and it was fine. Weather turned to shit at the end of the day as well. Great day caught a lot of fish.
Where's your boat?
On the trailer waiting for the weather to improve....
I know this is two years ago and I may be too late with introducing you to TRINITY 600 Waverider boats latest 2024 launch. Love you to do a seatrial in my prototype. If you study the video you'll notice I'm sitting down all the time. I have a really bad back myself.
Il have a look
Il have a look
You say you chose YF70 over a Caribbean 2300 or a HH675 because it has better seating options?? I know what I would rather have!
Not just that. Much more than that. 675 only 6 persons, not enough fuel and poor seating. Ride isn't outstanding enough to make me want one over this. Caribbean 2300 is superior boat in every way, didn't buy due to being too heaving to tow, launch, manage etc. I do like the Haines 675, I just like these more. Everyone has their own opinions. If 675 had more fuel, 7 persons capacity and a fold out rear lounge would have bought instead. Other boat on the mix is the northbank 650ht, which again is awesome, but had way too much freeboard for stand up game fishing. Haines is uncomfortable, nowhere to sit, can't sit or stand on sides etc. just basically a stripped out fishing rig with a badge. They need to up their game.
Do you now recommend this YF70 over a bar crusher ?. I am after a one but still not decided yet
Absolutely hands down yes. Recommended over 730ht. YF70 is heavier, quieter, better riding boat with way better design and features. 5mm alloy is light and noisy. I don't recommend buying an older model Yellowfin southerner though. So if you are looking second hand, I'd buy a barcrusher. But new, Yellowfin YF70 all the way. I'd take a 730ht over an old Yellowfin southerner any day. The new YF series is at a whole different level though, in the plate market in general. For NOW. Let's hope the other brands step up.
hey mate, thanks for the content. how do you find the stability at rest in these vs the bar crushers given they dont have the water ballast system? Cheers!
Hey man the BC and Surtees are definitely more stable at rest due to ballast. But this boat more stable than both of them at all speeds apart from stopped. Having said that, stability at rest for a non ballast hull is still very good in this boat.
@@BaitBallin excellent to know. I assume the bar crusher and surtees didnt have zipwakes though? how much you attributing to that ? on par if they did have them ?
@tinski88 hey still more stable when both have zipwakes. But yes, in my opinion nobody should be buying a new one of these boats without zipwakes. Previously neither BC or Surtees wanted to fit zipwakes to their boats. Now they do
Very nice, but gee they need to re design the colour schemes
Absolutely man, most of them are ugly as sin!!!! Two tone is foul
Beautifully finished boat, love the hardtop and fit out. The electronics scare me, but that’s the future I suppose. Not so sure about the ride, but as long as you’re happy, that’s all that matters.
It's dry, safe, good layout, comfortable etc. won't win any speed races offshore but will be a good platform for fishing and family stuff
Best thing to do with the zip wakes is, delete the auto pitch, so you have auto roll only, then use the outboard trim accordingly. That way the auto pitch isnt fighting against you all the time. I have it set up like that in my 700 Surtees.
Great advice will try it!
Straight to the point. Nice
Looks like a great boat mate glad you're happy with it, there's reports of Strippies in close around 40-50 fathoms get out there and christen her.
Thanks man, yep will be out shortly
Yamaha is nice sounding
Yeah definitely! Nice low rumble without being obnoxious, too loud etc. so pretty happy with the engine choice
In comparison, the 4.2ltr Yammi is a noisy bloody thing compared to say the merc V8 version.. (not sure about the Zuki or Honda) In actual fact, one single 300 Yammi is far louder than both of my old verado 200 twins running combined. But I'd put up with a little bit more noise for the Yammi reliability and track record. There's a newish vid of a guy testing in identical imported plate boats in FNQ doing 300hp Merc V's 300 Yammi. Easily shows the difference in noise factor.
Does it have water bellist
No ballast, which is the one downfall of these boats!..... I do like the ballast systems at rest.
Bro drives side windscreen was covered in water returning
Yeah that doesn't bother me it's the front, when it's literally covered in water constantly. In my old BC you literally couldn't see out without wipers flat out, in any sort of chop at all. I was expecting same in this boat, and even though it wasn't a rough day, we instantly noticed how much better it is than the BCs at pushing spray away
Your old Allison would ride the same or better
Nah 300kg lighter they get pushed around alot more and tend to be more flighty / want to lift out of the water where the Yellowfin keeps the hull in the water. But they are good though for 6m rigs. One for my favourites infact. Highly recommend
Did u see us at the fad for like 10 mins in the sailfish,
Hey, yes did you guys get anything??? We didn't.
Marked a Marlin inshore of it that’s why we where circling Lots, tried getting it on a livie but no good
Hey mate have you seen Senator boats?? I’ve seen you discuss stabicrafts and senator are another New Zealand produced pontoon boat. I’ve just ordered a 6.5m hard top from them after doing a lot of research and boat tests etc they are amazing to deal with and will work with you for any custom options etc you want. Very competitive pricing and you get a true 6.5m hull. Congrats on the new rig looks like it’s running mint. Curious to hear your thoughts on the yammy we’re putting the 225 v6 on ours.
Hey man no direct experience but they do look very sweet. 225 is a sweet engine which you will no doubt love. Let me know what it's like when you get it! I typically don't go pontoon just because of cost due to so much fabrication tbh
Nice rig, I know your a Caribbean fan, having owned one, why didn't you look at the reef runner or the Caribbean 23? Awesome riding boats, been out on both. I owned a 6.4m Spacecraft Alloy boat, built in Toronto NSW, big heavy plate boat, with a volvo penta inboard duo prop, placed in the centre of the boat with a recess in the transom, so you could fish right to the back..I seriously regret selling that boat, it was the only Alloy rig I could ever compare to a nice glassboat ride wise.
Hey, yeah the reefies are a bit light and small for my needs, But the 2300 is prob my all time favour glass game fishing rig. Just a bit big and heavy for my needs and abilities. Just in terms of always need a perfect deep water ramp etc, with this boat I plan to tow and use everywhere in not ideal conditions to launch and retrieve. But yes love the 2300 and 2400! Never seen a spacecraft Il check them out, sounds interesting
I have a reefy, no bouncing at all, bloody awsome offshore...infact I owned a Caribbean Concorde before the reefy, 5.4m, it was awesome offshore as well.
Yeah I mean compared to a 2300, they do get pushed around more. I have a mate who put about 60-100kg of sand bags in his cabin and he says has totally transformed his boat. I reckon some zipwakes would also suit a reef runner perfectly.
Looks better than most I've seen. What kind of speed were you travelling at looks around 15-20 knots which is ok. Yellowfin make a nice hull on the outside, however I think what lets them down is their hull structure in my opinion. For your average punter it'll be right, but for the few that travel 150km offshore, it's not going to cut it. They have the ability to design and refine their craft with tech, whereas "custom" boat builders are only able change the inside of their hull to make it look pretty.
Hey the new under floor construction is much much better than last generation. It's now connected to floor with vertical braces, last generation wasn't and it was shite in my opinion. We're doing between 22-25 knots. Could push it a bit harder obviously and I will in another video when I am driving. It's funny this boat, under the hardtop etc make it look and feel very slow but it's faster than you think. Yes for going way wide, speed does matter for sure. We passed numerous boats to and from the shelf which were sitting on 15-20ish. Only boat better on the day ride was was 6.8 camcraft which are a weapon
hahha no competition with the camcraft thats for sure
@smithys3512-lg5yx 👍
40yr old 19ft hains will still smash it lol
Keep dreaming.....Had many, good for their time. Don't compete with modern, better boats. Also had the modern versions of that hull as recent as a few years ago. 580 Haines classic. Unstable, wet boats but pretty soft riding yes. I watched a new Haines 675 enclosed the other day closely, riding like absolute shite. Leaning all over the place, banging hard, throwing people around. Captain had no idea how to drive it and it needed zipwakes no doubt, but just because a boat is fibreglass doesn't mean it's automatically superior. Btw I like the 675 Haines and it was on my list when shopping for this boat also.
@lachlansneddon9246 A lot of boats between the 6 and 7mtr will take a pounding and smash through the chop and beat another boat in its class to or from a destination if pushed and driven correctly. It all comes back to how comfortable you want your passengers to be. I could just about smash any boat in its class in my old 243 Whitepointer(except for the odd 233 Formula and big glass cats) . I would drive that thing it to its absolute limit coming back from offshore when it was just myself and a mate, which I knew was capable of holding on tight.. But if kids are on board or perhaps your partner, then smashing through the chop like there's no tomorrow will definitely make a nice day out hell for your passengers.
Exactly
💯
@@BaitBallin I’d say the modern version of the 19r Haines would be the 6m bsb or edencraft. 580 classic more comparable to the 565 Haines. The 675 Haines if set up right and driven correctly would definitely be a better class of boat offshore than the yellow fin . Horses for courses it’s not all about speed.
Another detailed and very informative video, excellent work you never fail deliver on the finer details of the video topic and as always your content is direct and easy to understand. Now i would love to get your knowledge and honest feedback on the Yammy? I understand the Yamaha has an almost flawless history with reliability dating back to the Saltwater series. The latest range of Mercs have been around for a few years now and they seem quieter than the Yammy and i haven't heard any common horror stories regarding reliability as yet. As a fellow OCD'er whats your your insight when comparing the 2 brands? I personally love the reliability of Yamaha but also love the quieter engine noise from the Merc. I have watched some RUclips videoes where people have sais the fuel consumption of the Merc is slightly better than the Yammy, but that could possiblly be biased feedback. Looking forward to the next video regarding the general craftsmanship finish of the hull. Many thanks again and happy new year!
Hey man, all good. Will also do a detailed review of this engine soonish. It kind of depends on the exact HP range you are comparing. The new V6 and V8 mercs are very nice engines indeed, but I do know sellers of both and the Mercs from what I am told at least have more warranty issues than the Yamaha's, by quite a margin. But don't let this put you off as I know so many people with these new Mercs with zero issues. Both Yammy and Merc are super quiet and smooth, awesome economy etc. I liked the helm master offering about more than the verado equivalent, so went Yamaha. But it was dead set between this and 250 verado. If I was looking for slightly cheaper option, Suzuki df250ap. I know many commercial operators who will flat out only run Yamaha 4 strokes and run their engines for many thousands of hours with minimal issues. The only modern Mercs I don't really like are the last gen supercharged verado inline engines. Crazy bad on fuel and quite problematic.
Definitely quieter than the bar crusher
Glad it shows up, wish I had some sort of decibel tester to see how much
I can tell it is considerably guieter that the bar crusher you had. Nice rig.
Thanks man, yep the constant water noises on the 5mm hull was driving me literally crazy. Even at rest, it was so off putting. Especially after coming from many glass boats
That looked pretty good to me. Well balanced boat.
Yeah definitely something clever going on under the water line.
Should have put the lures out.
Yeah we came across a bunch of mahi mahi busting up, including a few big bulls but we couldn't get them to eat anything. Tried everything 😞
@@grimreaper6112 where's the stick of dynamite when you need it?
🤣🤣🤣💪
Awesome vid mate yep my boats exactly the same im very happy with it.
Excellent glad to hear it
One day Il do a video on the Yamaha and let's compare performance / fuel figures for something interesting
How is the ride compaired to the big caribbean? Looks like a much better set up fishing boat than the old girl
Yeah it's a much better set up. It's not quite to the same level of smooth etc but having said that, not as far off as I thought it would be either, Peter also remarked the same thing. With the zipwakes and everything combined It's pretty close to the Caribbean, but just much more functional. Overall it will suit us well and long days offshore will be pretty non eventful.
I can see it does ride softer than a barcrusher now. Theres a better camera angle than the first water testing video.
The first video was honestly very bad filming etc I wasn't happy but put it up anyway. I.e when I'm doing the camera I try to get a range of angles etc.
If you want performance attach a gopro to where you would normally put a flir. Then if you want fishing attach one to the rocket launchers
Btw, I asked BC to make me a 6mm boat with a fully welded front cabin area. They said no, and wouldn't customise anything and 6mm is a huge expense increase and it would eat their profit margin. So once that happened they were off my list. I did try to give them another chance.
Yeah right. Brands should listen to their customers.
Agreed. I honestly thought they would consider as I was willing to pay for it.
Shes a beutiful day mate
Yeah Il get some more video soon of very rough days during tollgate classic tournament
@BaitBallin anything for content 💀
Hahaha ultimately it's just a hobby and for people to watch, ignore, like, dislike it's all good. I've always loved boats of all shapes and sizes so I do find these things interesting
@@BaitBallin fair enough
In the next video we take it offshore to see how it goes....fishing didn't go so well, but boat results were interesting. Stay tuned, will be up on Saturday.
Good video guys. Being the owner of a 6.8m CamCraft, the ride seems very rough, but I agree with you on the hardtop. I don’t even run a bimini anymore, so I’d be drenched, but just would have got back to port much faster.
Yeah this little BC was very light. Like 880kg hull, gets pushed around alot and nothing compared to camcraft.....but hard top config I definitely love
What about the fuel filler
What do you mean?
@ the older models it was in the middle of the floor but now they have moved it into the walkway haven’t they, other boat brand like yellowfin just have it on the sides for easy access
@tysonvildovas8784 yep it's awesome being half way down on my new boat. Makes it so so much easier
Hey mate, I love your channel. I've been subbed for a few years now, and I'm extremely OCD like yourself. I have somehow managed to hold off purchasing my dream hull for 3 years now. I just wasn't 100 % on a hull until you posted your new YF-70. The new extended cabs look perfect for me, I'm in a similar situation as yourself in terms of needs for a hull. I almost pulled the trigger on a new Barcrusher 670 12 months ago, but I wasn't 100% feeling it because I wanted a larger cabin for overnight trips for my family (I'm 6'4). I would love to get your feedback on the welds and general craftsmanship finish of your new hull? I have read a few but not many horror stories a couple of years ago on the yellowfin fb groups regarding the previous southerner range having poor welds/finish however it has been mentioned yellowfin apparently had an employee who was not up to par with meeting minimum standards and was let go resolving most issues however, I may be wrong (the internet is not always correct lol). Were there any other factors outside of price to purchase the 70 over the 76? I live near Gladstone, and most of my fishing will be around the bunker group/great barrier reef, requiring mostly 100-200km round trips. Big rolling swell is not the big issue up here it's mostly that sharp short swell and spine tingling chop that really hammers us on trips when it blows up over 15 knots. I'm wondering if the 76 will help skip across this QLD chop and provide a smoother ride or if the extra 480mm is not really a big enough difference to justify spending the extra $. Cheers and keep up the good work. You have by far the most informative boating channel online. Can't wait for your next video.
Hey man, I will do a video soon of the build quality in detail. It's substantially better than the older ones for sure!!!! But I hope all of them are the same as they built this boat knowing it was for me and I will go pick holes in all the issues and show everyone. So far so good, very impressed all round and many steps ahead of crusher in just about every way. So at this stage, I'd say you can't go wrong
We have the same short sharp swell down here in PPB. If you are in a confused/following sea with a swell north of 1.3m and a distance between peaks shorter than or up to slightly greater than the length of the hull, broaching can occur. I haven’t driven the 670HT or 730HT in the same sketchy conditions but I can say that the Yellowfin was incomparably smoother in standard chop, and if you can hammer over the chop at speed, it just munches through it. In normal offshore conditions you’ll laugh off the swell. I also ended up buying the Yellowfin over the Barcrusher for reasons including cabin size. The Yellowfin feels like a better boat in every way. Superficially, the welds look fantastic. Edited for spelling. Also thanks to Baitballin for these great vids.
@bababooboobumbum5197 all good man you made the right choice. Yep I had it out yesterday in 30km winds and it was very quiet, predictable and didn't have a single drama or unexpected landing and barely throwing up any spray at all compared to other brands.
It's not really about 20 or 25" transom but more the splashwell design. My sundance v17 which is a flop from a Haines v17r has a 20" transom but splashwell closed transom is at thigh height so very safe.
Yes that's true....
Thought you might have added the Offshore NZ 750HT to your list, looks really nice
I can only comment on boats I have access to etc unfortunately and dealers don't like providing access to products when people tell the truth
@@BaitBallinfair point, they look impressive with 8mm hull and winner of multiple boat show. Certainly going to add them to my list of potential boats.
@AvitusUAVSystems yep I'd like to try one out for sure
Very true what you say about LOA and it always surprises me how many specs are missing from the Stabicraft/Barcrusher/Surtees websites like hull length, weight of hull (not just BMT) etc. I don't have an issue with them putting the specs for LOA but they should be required to list hull length. I guess consumers aren't educated enough to demand such details be listed which is disappointing.
Yep anyone who doesn't advertise their hull weight for a start is not ok in my books. The crushers are all extremely light, which DOES absolutely impact rough water performance. Weight is a huge factor and reality is the 5mm hulls are all very light weight.
@@BaitBallin I find the ballast on the Surtees does help a bit but you're right extra weight would make a lot of difference.
@fishinbite yeah I like the ballast systems for at rest for sure and can work ok in some circumstances under way, I also found the ballast works better in the Surtees than the crushers, not sure why at all though
Hey mate whats that grey rubber mat around the prop for?
Just put it there to stop anyone hurting themselves walking into it
Thoughts on the 700 workmate ht?
I mean I prefer the game fisher personally. Unfortunately there is minimal price difference. If they were way cheaper than maybe, but they aren't
Really interesting this and last vid man . I wrote down all ur measurements and was really happliy surprised. After up and down in boat sizes and styles over the years currently i have a 600 ocean sport Quintrex. Width is the same as ur boat , free board is the same as well but obviously not being a hard top my bunks are smaller but deck space is slightly bigger. Today i checked the length and without the bow spit its bang on 6m, and it really does feel like a big boat for 6m . witch makes me curtain the newer 6.1 to 6.4 model is the same boat just with the bow spit added and measured from different points to appear longer
Yeah that's right, open 6m boats can feel very big and it's only fairly recently that they started this LOA crap when measuring and selling. I seriously disagree with it and all boats should be sold based on hull length.
@@BaitBallin absolutely agree ,but I think some glass boats have been sneaky for quite awhile. my mate had a little runabout that claimed to be 4.5m , at the time I had a old Vicks 4.2 and parked next to each other it seriously looked like my mates boat - the apparent 4.5 , would fit inside my old Vicks. Probably like you I have looked at alot of boats over the years and turned up to look at 5. Whatever and thought holy shit it's huge then gone to the next one supposedly the same length and thought, really is that it - you sure the .
@jaywurst4450 yeah some of the glass boats have over estimated massively also for sure. Dealers should publish both Loa and hull length I reckon
@BaitBallin Yes, as you mentioned, the Haines Signature, the 620sf is now the 650sf, the old 650sf is now called the 680sf. All BS sizing nowadays.
@jb243wp yes absolutely
Beautiful all round boats. I just sold my yf76 because the ride was too hard when the wind picked up coming back from the shelf. I’m going back to a Barcrusher.
You just sold a brand new YF76? To go back to a barcrusher? Doesn't make sense, going backwards to a much lighter boat. It can be a good idea to turn off zipwakes in a following sea.
Yep, how I feel at the end of a big day offshore was the proof for me. And I did a few in any different conditions. Barcrusher 730ht definitely rides softer in the rough stuff. Just my experience.
Yep all good definitely disagree but that's ok. 730ht is an 1100kg hull vs 1450 for YF76 and yf70 is 1186. Suggest you go to a glass boat tbh, something like a Caribbean 2300 or if you don't mind sacrificing stability for smoothness, an edencraft
Nah mate dunno if you've been on a 730 but those things are ridiculously soft. Been on one and a 670 but the 670 couldn't compare.
Not every thing is Hull weight
Custom plate boats are basically the only ones who give a true length size on they’re advert
Yep agreed 👍
Caribbean and Northbank are also pretty good on the glass side, in terms of not over estimating their hull sizes
I have a 7m true length. That is nearly 8.2 loa
Yep genuine 7m boat is huge. My last Caribbean was 7.1 ish off memory. Was too big for my needs....
Great video mate, very helpful 👍🏻
All good. Glad it helped
how much $$$ bro ??? love these things !!!
They have gone up alot lately....prob get one for good price a few years old tho
What made it easier is that you are on your own at the ramp. In Sydney you have dozens of boats at any one time and unfortunately some are in a rush and get angry if you take your time to ensure all the requirements and safety precautions are checked. Some don't seem like they are out to have a good time you would think they are going to work and are rushing.
Yeah I never do this in reality. Min of two people and it's a faster operation. Yep bloody stressful when ramps are busy
I will do a second part to this next week including: seatbox to back, total height on trailer, hull depth mid and front and true hull length, minus bowsprit etc. the rear of these hulls dont have big pods which don't even extend down to the waterline included in the length like competitors do, these YF hulls extend all the way at rear, full width down to the water. So true hull size vs sticker size is actually very respectable. I'd say it's a true 6.7m boat.
The only measurement i wanted to know was the deck space from back of seat box to transom. It seems like you avoided it and diverted to talking about how convenient the boxs are
Hahaha no, I forgot. Il do it next time. This is what happens when you don't plan things and just start talking shit. I also forgot total height of the boat on trailer, plus hull height at mid length and front.
@BaitBallin and the proper length from transom to before the bow spirt not inc the pod
Yeah Il do some more measurements.....as many things as I can think of that people might find interesting.
1.65m from back of seat box to vertical section at rear
@BaitBallin less fishing room than a 5m boat. Definitely less than a surtees
Really enjoying your videos mate. I have a BC 615C with a Yamaha 150 and do regular island hopping and reef fishing trips with the family up here in central QLD. Considering a 670HT or YF700 extended cab in the next year or so. I’ll continue to watch your videos as I find them totally unbiased. Absolutely love my BC615 - very soft landing when trimmed right but like you say it’s certainly noisy. I regularly fish out of a cruise craft outsider that my mate has that’s obviously much quieter by comparison.
Hey man, yeah nothing wrong with BC it's just that the new extended cabs have taken the segment up a whole notch. 670ht is not a competitor for the YF70 total different class of boat. The YF70 is heavier, quieter and handles better than a 730 any day of the week, not to mention much more fishing friendly and all round comfortable. Crushers were game changing 10 plus years ago, were still good 5 years ago, now are sadly lagging behind the best in the market. Id only be looking at Surtees 700/750 game fisher or YF 70/76 if you want the best. The smaller crushers still offer good performance and bang for your buck. But anyway good luck with your search! Il get this thing out soon for a good flogging and see how it holds up
Bugs are funny. Thought i heard a pig too!😅 Nature is awesome.
Yep it's like living in the literal jungle here 🤣
