Ridgefield Nature Center Beautification Project

The International WeLoveU Foundation East Coast Region partners with the Borough of Ridgefield, New Jersey to restore the Ridgefield Nature Center. Starting on Earth Day 2019, an average of 40 volunteers met on site for three days to start the restoration efforts. The volunteers made significant progress by removing decaying wood, hanging vines and redefining the walkways with wood chips. Through the Ridgefield Nature Center restoration project, the WeLoveU Foundation aims to reconnect families with nature and raise awareness about the importance of protecting the environment. WeLoveU volunteers are looking forward to continue the next phases before the Ridgefield Nature Center’s reopening.
