I started watching before the green truck and did love that build, but I really can't wait to see what you'll build next. The FJ has been cool and a good learning experience for us all. I'm excited to see what's next because with this guy, the sky feels like the limit.
I’m not gonna lie I’m kind of sad to see this one go. I’ve been watching the channel from the very beginning and I can see where you have applied lessons learned and refined everything under that detailed eye of yours. I know this one hurts a little bit to see gone but I know bigger and better things are coming. Go for you bro!!! don’t change keep doing what your doing what. you’re doing, we’ll be watching.
Austin has a crazy work ethic and just by watching how much time and effort he puts into his build is beyond crazy! anyone whose going to buy a car off him is defiantly lucky1. Proud of you brother !
It's sad to see something you put your heart into go but you gotta do what you must. I sold my 05 Tundra Limited with 50k miles on it 2 months ago, I put a 3 in lift, rebuilt the front end drive train because of age, put 18x10 moto metal wheels 5 of them with Nitto Grappler G2's. I put a lot into it, The first guy who came and saw it fell in love with it, bought it right then and there. Looking forward to the FJ completion.
Seeing that truck for the last time as the new owner was driving away was sad and cool at the same time. You put a lot of work into it, and it looks so good on the road.
For me the best way to test the fan clutch is to rave your engine to 2000rpm, keep it there and listen to the fan, if the fan changes the sound pitch from high to low then it's okay... I tried this on a Volvo fh V5 and most Toyota vehicles especially Dyna.
I feel your pain man. I sold my 77 f250 I resto-moded with a 7.3idit last year to fund a cabin for my family. But I still have my 01 Taco BHW build inspired by you! Keep up the great builds Austin. If you ever need any help with the old 7.3, hmu
WHAAAATTT!!!!??? Congrats to the buyer!!! Such an amazing build tho Austin you are one hell of a builder for sure! Sad to see it go but I know it will help with future builds. Take care we wish you good health and happiness!
I bought a Hilux just as you started to do this, sorry you e needed to sell it but you know what the FJ is going to be so awesome. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for it.
A sad moment, Austin. On to the FJ, excited to see the end result. Ps. I have a '89 FJ62 3F petrol guzzler here in the SA bushveld which I will never part with. The TLC needs some TLC though. Good luck
He didn't take the camper shell? Anyway, you put your heart and soul into that beauty and hard to see it drive away. I hope he does some content on it on his trip back to Arizona and post it to Facebook. Do you have any footage of the sale of Big Red? Keep up the good work!
Hopefully you read this, but I just now finally Sub'd idk what I was waiting for. I have LOVED watching this tacoma build series and learning from it. I would seriously pay you to do something very similar to my 03 double cab. I didn't know you have a website so I will also be sending a DM via that, but I am serious about it. I have the ALH already, and plan to do something almost identical to what you have done here.
would love of you to work on my Land Rover Discovery 2...lol Youre probably way to expensive for me but im just wishful thinking..Lol. Love your channel and your work
Ir's always sad when you sell a truck, especially when you have put so much time and effort into it. All is well though you couldn't stop on the FJ in the middle of the build!
Very nice truck. I have a similar Tacoma already with a 5 speed and wanting to do the same motor swap. Any chance you would be interested? I am northeast Washington also
That’s the only Toyota truck that had a lambo class paint job. Beautiful build, I sure this guy will love it for a long time. Can’t wait to see whats next!
Austin! I cannot believe you sold her without letting me know. I guess I should of asked to buy it after every video I watched😢. Sad to see her go to Arizona. I hope you got at least $30k.
Oh man that one is literally one of my favorite builds on the channel. Reason I actually started following 😂...
First fj complet
Likewise bro. I just loved that one😢
Wish I knew it was for sale. I would have sold my future for that truck.....
Thanks for the opportunity to own it! Been loving it!

Curious on how much it sold for. Such a clean truck!
I'd think he made at least 3-5k on it. He prob. will make more from the build series. He published his build price in one of the series.
people on another video said that he replied to a comment and said $35k. sad. if it were a commissioned work it would be towards $100k.
@@bob15479 not likely
@@WisdomInTheWoods at least 60 right? He put a lot of skilled labor into it . $35k in parts alone.
Austin has a crazy work ethic and just by watching how much time and effort he puts into his build is beyond crazy! anyone whose going to buy a car off him is defiantly lucky1. Proud of you brother !
Great build,
I bet thats one happy Tacoma owner ,
Glad to see you putting that back into the shop and projects
I see you color matched the steering column. Great show👍🏾
Such a nice truck. With all the work you put into it I can imagine how tough it was to sell it.
You do awesome work Austin on anything you work on, your channel will go very far with the content you produce. Aloha from Kansas

Love it when builders sell their cars and don t get too attached ...others can enjoy, it doesn t just sit...pretty lucky guy that truck is nice...
Seeing that truck for the last time as the new owner was driving away was sad and cool at the same time. You put a lot of work into it, and it looks so good on the road.
The main thing I remember from that series was the detail in painting it. how long it took to get everyhting right was inspiring.
that was a sick build like everything you build austin ! cant wait to see that FJ final result !

i am sad to see the tacoma go. it has always been my favorite truck that you built. i am currently searching for one so i can build my own.

Love the color bought Nissan in fall 93. That black emeral nice color.
What a lucky duck that guy!
Sad to see it go but excited for the next projects in line like the FJ. Thanks for the update.
😢😢😢😢😢 a very good ship we will miss it in the videos in the garage!!
Just subbed to the channel because of this green gem! Sad to see it go
Another rad truck by AVR Customs 👍😎
Congratulations. Seems like it will be well loved at its new home. So whats next??? Tow rig? 😏
Man i love that truck cant wait to see the fj done
A sad moment, Austin.
On to the FJ, excited to see the end result.

Sad to see it go... Thats a nice truck for sure.
Austin you look so intense when he was test driving the truck. Sad to see it go. Thought you had a shell for it.
Love your channel and builds, but your breaking my heart selling the diesel trucks...😢, but understand, keep up the awesome work ! 👍
the guy who buy that truck is so lucky..hope you will be more succes
He didn't take the camper shell? Anyway, you put your heart and soul into that beauty and hard to see it drive away. I hope he does some content on it on his trip back to Arizona and post it to Facebook. Do you have any footage of the sale of Big Red? Keep up the good work!
I wanted the shell he had already sold it
Oh…my heart is in pain for you. That has been my fav build so far…I have a maroon 03 myself and I’d love for it to look like yours!🥹
I had to sell my 1st gen Tacoma to fund my FJ40 addiction as well. Miss that truck but the cruiser is so much more fun. 👍
I feel for you bro. Stay strong my dude
Que bien 👍🏼. Esperemos en algún momento traer uno a CR. Pura vida
Can you say how much you let it go for?
Definitely made a work of art. I used to dream of a truck like that.
oh really ? Don't you think I messed it up with that engine? I think it's the worst tacoma I've ever seen
we can help by commenting and telling you how much we love your updates. I hope this channel picks up
You should build the white ford long bed truck next. That would be an awesome build.
That truck is so nice looking!
Hopefully you read this, but I just now finally Sub'd idk what I was waiting for. I have LOVED watching this tacoma build series and learning from it. Very nice... he got a great truck and you can invest in something else... the FJ. VERY COOL 😎 👌
Great build! Followed it from beginning. Austin you seem so uncomfortable dealing with people in person. lol
Love your builds good sir...stay strong my man
Did you ever dyno this before selling it?
No lie my favorite build on RUclips. Going to miss this one
Austin, where did you list it for sale? Same with with the other trucks you have sold? Where are you advertising these?
Damn, I’d have bought it in a heartbeat, lucky man
Entiendo el trabajo que inviertes en la camioneta, que paso con hilux roja?
Oh , man you doing things the right bro ,
Teach your brother devin , ❤
Peace
Any idea what it sold for?
Commenting because I'm curious too

@ Austin Niemela I have a 96 tacoma 2.7 4x4 what will it take to put a 3.4 in it. Any suggestions will help.
would love of you to work on my Land Rover Discovery 2...lol Youre probably way to expensive for me but im just wishful thinking..Lol. Love your channel and your work
Price?
Well...that sucks...hopefully another epic build in the future
Is there a website I can look at these vehicles ?
Cost of converting a Tacoma with diesel d4d engine
The buyer was so excited he forgot to seat belt but anyway you are lucky to own this Tacoma
@Austinniemela what leafs were you running in the rear?
OME leafs!
India brother❤
Now at 50 years old take them automatic almost always.
Ir's always sad when you sell a truck, especially when you have put so much time and effort into it.

Крутая машина получился

I wonder if the dude works for In N out because he wore the same shirt twice hahaahh
You should have put a sticker to remind him to buckle up
Whatever happened to the red flat bed truck?.
Seat belt!
How can I buy a vehicle made by you?
How much was the deal? 💵💵💵
Do you still have the 4Runner?
I do!
@@austinniemela Awsome to know you still have the 4Runner. I sure enjoy watching all of your videos.
hate to see it go, but come on, tell us how much you sold it for!
Safety belts
Safety belts that’s all you got out of this video… Shut up you’re probably still wearing your mask and come home at 9 o’clock at night
Austin What its the name of that color what is its code
How can i get that color i like
I don't know how you can put all that work into a truck then let it go. It would kill me to sell my OBS F250.
Hope you got at least 20K for your truck. Glad it wasn't the Red one.
haha 20k.. definitely got more than that.
@@4xfreedom Yeah, I should have said 30K.
35k
How much did you sell it for $35xxx
😢
That’s the only Toyota truck that had a lambo class paint job. Beautiful build, I sure this guy will love it for a long time. Can’t wait to see whats next!
Shoot i was driving pop's vw around house about 8,9 year olds.
Is it me, or did he seem extremely uncomfortable when test driving because of the buyer not having his seat belt on.
Austin! I cannot believe you sold her without letting me know. I guess I should of asked to buy it after every video I watched😢. Sad to see her go to Arizona. I hope you got at least $30k.
No God, Please No! Noooooooo!😑
🇱🇾😢
انت رائع في عملك لاكن كثير الشرح والكلام
WHHHHHAAAAAAAT
Dude u cringed the whole time.. but ya need the money.. I understand. Do a 3 month review after dude has it... wait nevermind.. buy taco.
Hi Austin, can you contact me regarding the TDI Tacoma
When you sell off a truck that you built, you lose a little bit of yourself.
😢
