Fun Fact: if you change the game's soundtrack to use 8 bit, the castlevania dlc areas play their original variants of the music i.e Vampire Killer

These covers rock. Been with castlevania since nes original and love it. I don't want to hear the og again. I'll go play the og if I want that or pop in one of the many soundtrack cds I have.
Kind of miss that old filthy sound you used to get from the ancient soundcards. Really made guitar sections sound amazing

It's all subjective, but personally I prefer the original music over these new versions. The only music remakes that I've truly enjoyed were the ones on the Dracula Battle CDs back in the 90's.
Can you make video of all the reffernces? When I was playing I felt like I'm missing so much of context.

People who signed for early access got the ability to show DLC 3 or 4 days before release.
While the remixes are good, you just can't beat Konami's sound team.
You can listen to the originals if you use go in the settings and change the ost to the alternative Castlevania soundtrack, which replaces all tracks in the game with castlevania ones

Technically you can (via the unlockable Dracula outfit).
Most of the original ones are better
I agree but some people might've found it to be lazy to reuse old tracks. And these remixes aren't terrible so meh

Sometimes it's easier and better to let originals be originals and to change absolutely nothing.
They feel more in tune with Dead Cells, which was the whole point bro.
The whole point is to make them fit with the rest of the Dead Cells soundtrack, and in that aspect it works
Dissappointed, tbh. I get they wanted to do the songs in the style of the music of Dead Cells but they just sound boring.
