Final audio output sound can be heard at 9:22 but it is low frequency so might not be audible on lower quality speakers/headphones. I should make another tutorial about creating quad frequency binaurals where there is an extra higher frequency embedded to support lower quality audio devices.. I will make this update soon!
Thanks a lot for your explanation ! can we make binaural sound with a other shape of sound ? violine sound for example ? and how ? Can you make a other vidéo with the binaural plug of logic pro ?
good question.. i have been looking into this lately but it seems like Logic Pro is big on quantization of notes.. you can shift the frequency/pitch of an instrument by a tone or semi-tone, but i have not yet figured out how to shift by just 2 or 4 Hz. if i find out i'll be sure to post my findings here!
Hello Tony, thank you for watching my video about how to make and export a binaural beat frequency using Logic Pro. Sadly, that website I show you in this video no longer exists, all that remains is an old .webarchive I saved to disk many years ago.
hey! awesome video :) for some reason it won’t let me save the file as a pcm to my harddrive because of permissions? any thoughts on why this could be, all permissions seem to be set to be read and written by me so am unsure what to do 😅
thx, glad you enjoyed this video tutorial on how to make binaural beats! as for your file permission issue.. can you save it to your desktop folder? if not pcm can you do wav? are you saving to external or system drive? is it formatted as mac os journaled? trying local drive in your desktop folder is a good first troubleshooting step.. curious if that works for you, good luck!
Hi, thank you for this video. Can't you just do the binaural beat frequency and then create music in the same logic pro project without exporting it first? Or is there a reason to export it first?
You could create your music and export it all at once, but then you have to listen to the tone generators the whole time, or mute them but remember to unmute them before you bounce. Personally, I like to export them to their own track, and create a binaural asset library that I can import to whatever project I am working on, which is usually inside Final Cut Pro.
Hello Destiny Destan, thank you for your interest in my Logic Pro binaural beats! Not entirely sure what mean by "wobble", but I suspect you're looking for the higher frequency oscillations. Most of my binaurals use a low frequency beat on a low frequency carrier. You can try increasing the carrier frequency to something like 400 Hz and play around with the beat frequency until you get that "wobble" sound you're looking for.
Great explanation! So if I want to take the file back to logic and keep producing other stuff, how do I do it?:) Will it then show up as an audio file? Thx! 🙏
This is very pedagogical and easy to understand/repeat- Thank you. My question is ... how can you make a beat frequency that shifts in its frequency over time ....... So for example ..... starting at 4hz beat and then increasing. Presumably this needs one of the oscilators to have a 4Hz frequency offset at the start and then gradually increase the frequency gap from the 'static' reference frequency value ... is this possible using the test oscillator (i.e. automate a changing frequency of just one of the signals)?
Glad you found this video tutorial on how to make a binaural beat frequency using Logic Pro useful, and thank-you for your comment. Your question is valid and unfortunately I haven’t been able to do a smooth frequency shift using native Logic Pro tools, it wants to step in 10 Hz increments which of course is too granular for our purpose. Perhaps it’s possible with a third party plugin but I haven’t discovered it yet.
Hi, so actually I discovered a way moments ago. Before exporting the file you pick one oscillator and go to automation. under test osc. you find the automation "Frequency". there you can change the frequency at any pointing any form. this allows you to ramp down or up the carrier frequency. Just play with the automation, maybe this could also be the way of creating isochronic tones, but I am not to sure. I hope I could help you with that.
great question! because stereo lets you pan right and left but mono does not, and you need the stereo panning to create the binaural beat frequency effect.
@@carlos-elcoach4489 it turns out you're right, you can use mono instead of stereo if you wish.. it's an extra few steps to set up mono but if that's what you want to do it will work just fine -- thx for bringing this to my attention.
Hi bud, any chance you could send me that archive you have? im trying to find one online but haven't been successful so far? thanks for the great vid. Jamie from Newcastle UK
Well Jamie, the good news is that I finally found this old webarchive again after two hours of digging through old computers and hard drives this morning. Not sure how I feel about distributing it though.. how would I get it to you anyways?
I think I found an original copy online, although it is NOT a secure website, so you may not be able to view it, depending on your device: lunarsight.com/freq.htm
Thank you for leaving a Chakra Chart withe note frequencies. Awesomeness 😀
