Do you have a science collection? Let me know what's in it! Seriously, I really want to know!
The first skull in your video is a coyote skull!! :33
@@Blablablablabla392 Awesome!! What was the clue?
@@TheLittleBlackShadeTree the pointed back of the skull and the teeth!! We have coyotes in Ohio so I’m very familiar with these!!
@@TheLittleBlackShadeTree and bear snouts are much shorter than coyote snouts!!
Thank you!!! I’m so excited to finally know!! 🤩🤩
first skull is a domestic dog. big giveaway is a sharp dip in the forehead, coyotes and bears are much flatter. sounds like he was a stray or someone buried their friend back there a long time ago :)
You have such a cool collection! It must be so inspiring for your kiddos! I’m not sure, but I think your giant megalodon tooth is my favorite piece. SO COOL!
Thank you! Although you have pieces in your collection to rival them all!! 🤩
12:48 I make a lot of terrariums and there should be more layers of dirt and rocks in it to filter the water.
The layers go rocks, charcoal, dirt, and THEN moss or other plants. It helps to filter out the water so that the moss isn’t soaking in nasty water
Oh! Thank you! I’m so grateful for your help and I’ll definitely fix my terrarium. You rock!
@@TheLittleBlackShadeTree no problem!! I love terrariums so much!!! I have 5 of them!!
@@Blablablablabla392 That’s awesome!!
Cna I get the charcoal from a hardware store?
Awesome collection, the skull is definetly a coyote skull! Beautiful
Thanks a bunch!
Wow! We have learned so much in the short several minutes that we’ve watched! Science is one of our favorites and there’s no such thing as “too much”. Lol!!
My son is asking if we can all do science projects together- lol
How awesome!! I feel like having kids is a parents way of living their childhood dreams again. I love teaching my kids to love all the same things I did (and still do). I guess that’s another reason parents are blessed by their kids. Luckily my kids have embraced it all with open arms 🥰
I suggest getting the book 'Animal Skulls: A Guide to North American Species' by Mike Elbroch. Its $40 and the quality and content surpasses the price by far, it could easily sell for $80. Elbroch is a conservationist that specializes in Mountain Lion social organization (see his talks on you tube), he also has a great book on tracking and one on the cougar (mountain lion)
Thats really cool! Love the channel, Happy New Year to you and your family.
Thank you so much! Happy New Year to you too!! ❤️❤️
I know this is an older video, but that skull is definitely a domestic dog! Looks identical to one of mine. I also have a few coyotes and three bear species, and this is not any of those.
Interesting!! I have not had anyone claim mine to be a dog before but I know dogs and coyotes have very similar skulls. Thank you for the tip!
Hi! New subscriber here. I'm really interested on how you extract dna or smth, hope you can make videos like that too :)
Your Videos are very best... True Biology Lover...
I also want to do something like you; but at this time, I'm just a student; So, I'll have to wait till I become self-employed...!!!
By the way, this was one of the best video for me, worked like a motivational video regarding biology love; thanks a lot for this !!!
Thank you once again !!!
Oh my goodness, thank you! That means so much to me. I’m so glad you love biology too and I’m excited for your prospects. I’d love to hear how it goes!
It's so interesting to watch your vlogs✨✨✨
The collection is impressive!🔥
Especially when you're showing everything along with some prehistory...🤔👍👍👍
I've comprehended some unique information on RUclips🤔😉 Thank you for that🥰
Thank you so much! I love science so I’ve really enjoyed sharing it with my kids. I certainly loved watching your video of all the places you get to travel, it’s amazing! 😍😍
