Can I just say that Christopher is probably one of my favorite RUclips spouses out there. You two are just so good together and it comes through clearly on camera.
To brew tea properly you need to pour the hot water onto the tea bags or leaves to release the flavour. The movement of the water is essential: even if you agitate the tea for a long time it will never be as good as if you had poured water onto the tea. As a British tea monster there is little as frustrating as being given a cup of hot water and a separate tea bag and it being called a cup of tea.
I spat my water out when princess jasmine came up on the screen 😂I wasn’t expecting it and it was HILARIOUS! Your editing always makes me smile and laugh, thank you so much. Times are tough as my Mom has Alzheimer’s and dementia with epilepsy and I’m her full time carer now. It’s so sad watching the person you love fade away. It’s hard for me to have rest time let alone go out and see friends so watching your videos really cheer me up. I’ve watched you for years and just know you are appreciated Rachel, you are beautiful inside and out and light up the screen especially with your personality! Love seeing you and Christopher together ❤ #couplegoals 🫶🏻
I love Rachel’s videos for very similar reasons! They are the best when you just need to smile and laugh and take a little break from life’s difficulties. I’m so sorry for all that you are going through. While I don’t have Alzheimer’s, I do have a different progressive and degenerative disease, and my mother is my full time caregiver. While your mother may not always be able to express it, I promise you that she appreciates everything you do for her, more than you will ever know. It’s my personal belief that there is no harder role than that of a caregiver. To watch your loved one suffer while feeling helpless and just trying to do everything you can for them within your control is beyond difficult mentally, emotionally and physically. Just thinking of the roles being reversed in my own situation breaks my heart. So thank you. Thank you for taking on the task of loving and caring for your mother. It is not a role that every person chooses to take on for their loved one, and we are very aware of that. To be cared for by a loved one is a blessing unlike any other. My prayers are with you and your mom. May God bless you both and provide you with strength, peace, and comfort as you continue on this difficult journey. 🙏🏻💕
@@BhappyD oh my goodness thank you so much for such a kind and thoughtful message and for taking time out to write it. Made me tear up. I’m so appreciative to you and I’m so sorry you suffer with so much too. You and your Hubby should consider doing a monthly video, where you take your ideas on drinks like these, and tweak them to your liking. Ex: like on the "Tiki" drink, make it how you guys were discussing, citric acid rim, seltzer instead of sprite, spritz of lemon/lime, etc. Just a thought... ❤️
I would love an unedited (or semi-unedited if kids are involved) video. I just love your chemistry! And I have always been super curious about how you usually work with making these videos ♥️
18:30 This is epic!!! Rachel: _"... Pick your cocktail, for a party???"_ Hubs: _"I could throw them in my bath!"_ Leave it to your spouse to always throw a joke out like this, when we have a great idea! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The genuine camaraderie you have with Christopher is so wonderful to watch and experience. I love the videos when he is around. Sadly you don't see the respect you have for each other come thru the screen that often w/ other couples. 💏🥰
I n the summer I use herbal or fruit tea blended with frozen fruit to make really nice smoothies, so maybe blend the tea mixture with the fruit and it would be better?
The coffee drink reminds me of a cold brew lemonade I had when I was living in Toronto. I didn't know what to expect but I said "Hey, I love coffee and I love lemonade. Let's go". I LOVED IT!!
@@missgeschick6317 a chocolate creation about a bite size with filling. It’s made by using a polycarbonate mould making the shell, then you fill it and lastly you make the bottom ☺️ hopefully I described it okay haha 😆
omg that shot reminds me of the most delicious summer bbq dessert! you dip a pineapple in cinnamon and sugar and grill it or toast it on the campfire. ITS SO GOOD! i think it might be a Brazillian thing but I'm not 100% sure
If you have access to Goya products in Canada, they make a peach nectar that I like to use as a mixer for cocktails, and during the summer makes an excellent addition to lemon/limeade.
As a girl with a feeding tube who cannot eat anything, thank you for these! I can only drink and I’m always looking for new things to try! :) I’m also going to be 21 soon ;)
A very nice cafe I used to work at had a tasting party one evening, and on the drinks menu was a gin, cold brew and orange slice cocktail. We started using orange slices in our cold brews as an option from then on and was bloody tasty especially if the coffee is citrus-y in nature.
If you haven't already, you absolutely must try a Chambord and rumchatta shot for Christmas! It tastes like a jelly doughnut! Big tradition in my family around the holidays.
I bet as that iced tea drink sits, and the fruits defrost, it tastes more of mango and peach, with the fruit bits in it. Stab the fruit with the straw, and then drink the tea with a fruit bit?
Can we have a special edition about Chris (and Rach of course 😅) make a personal version about that kind of video??? I like when he get inspired to personalize the taste of drink and food 😍 like a tiktok version versus a Chris and Rach version 😁😁😁 pleaaaaase 🙏
Have you ever tried espresso with tonic water+ice+lime? We have it in cafes in Ukraine. Weirdly we also have coffee with orange juice. If it’s cold with ice we add caramel syrup to it and it’s called Bumble. If you do it hot, orange juice+espresso it’s called cappuorange (like cappuccino but without milk)
We just tried something called a violet cloud martini, it was so yummy and super cool. It had a bubble on the top of it and you pop it with your nose, and then smoke? Steam? Fog? Whatever lol, comes out. It was super fun and worth trying. They used some kind of device to make the bubble on top, but not sure what it was. Steam gun? Bubble gun? I’ll see if I can find the recipe. I know it had mint and cucumber in it, which I wasn’t sure if it would go together, but it was very refreshing. It would be cool to watch you or Chris make this drink.
When you were testing out the product that you drop into beverages to flavor them and Christopher said it smelled like box candy and you said it smelled stale and he made the comment that all box candy is bad/ has gone bad was funny. Plus, it's so nice to hear that someone else has that opinion about it being stale or having gone bad. I was beginning to think I was the only one lol.
I think the "pumpkin" one needs some thing creamy. Maybe add some Bailey's or Kahlua? The tea one would be much better as a smoothie (boba!) Also, after watching a lot of drag race since lockdown, I was not prepared to have you say rim/rimmed that many times in that context 😅🤣
At this point you should probably try Swedish version for iced orange coffee. It's served all over Europe. It's amazing. 1/3 cup (2 1/2 ounces) chilled cold brew concentrate 3/4 cup (6 ounces) chilled tonic water lots of ice fresh orange or lemon slice That's the hit Rachel
You can make a kiddie cocktail version of the hocus pocus one using pineapple juice and blue hi-c/koolaid/Hawaiian punch. We do this on St. Patrick’s Day for my son :)

Iced Jasmine tea with lemon slices & cucumber slices, makes an uhhhmazing ice tea in the Summertime! 6oz water per tea bag, then when it's done steeping, add the slices of either lemon or cucumbers, or both (what my Aunt does), and then leave it in the fridge for a few hours. For the tea recipe I work at Starbucks and it’s similar to the peach green tea lemonade. fill your cup alllll the way up with ice or add water till desired taste because then the tea won’t be as potent. the girl in the video probably makes a big batch of super strong tea then waters it down a lot
