I met Bruce in 2019 at Palm Beach Cars and Coffee. He is a friendly and funny guy. Stories about Goofing off with Bruce Canepa was hilarious ...........!!
Mr. Bruce Meyer, you're an icon in the automotive world and in the automotive culture...You are pure class and the car world needs more people like you, God bless you Sir and keep on bringing us, more amazing automotive stories!
Oh my god. Bruce I LOVED your story of changing your mind from the hot Chevy to the little nimble import. Than the great prank by your buddies. What a treat it was to watch this. Many thanks.
Bruce Meyer is truly one in a million - one of the kindest, most charismatic people on the planet. The type of person whose name you cant utter without somebody in your vicinity saying "oh, I love that guy"!
Well done Bruce as the 935 along with its story including your sojourn with it, are simply top shelf parts of life lived well! Good to be part of CARpuccino with you! Cheers
Thanks for everything Bruce, you're such a cool dude. What a great story of your life with Porcshe and that special car. I visited your incredible museum in December 2018 with my friend Rob. I plan to visit again soon.
I always enjoy watching your interviews and presentations. You have a great sense of humor and I absolutely love your passion and particular collection of cars.
I have so many connections to this great brand and story from my Grandmother Barbara Knight who was close friends with the Petersens and invited me as her date to the opening of the Museum, to my first job out of college with Fred Baker Porsche Racing NA and having that Porsche Win Poster in this video of the Whittingtons' 935 up on my Bedroom wall.
Bruce's story about his love of muscle cars but a curiosity about the Porsche brand parallels my story as well. Loved V8 muscle cars but what's up with these little sports cars? Still love a muscle car but I've been hooked by the Porsche brand and what they have achieved since I was a young boy. Couldn't afford any Porsche for my first car but I got as close as I could with a GTI. Great story Bruce!
Adjusted for inflation that $2700 new Porsche would be about $27000 in todays dollars, the cheapest new Porsche (car) is a 718 Cayman at 63k ish. The total cost of that 356 in 1960 wouldn't even be a down payment today. Sad.
another born rich jew whose first car was a brand new porsche out of highschool..... I am 50 and never been in one. My dream is a gt3 touring with pdk in champagne color or lava orange or gemini blue. out of my budget as a disabled veteran. let alone being able to afford to live in southern california.
Lance Reventlow was born the richest infant in history. He said “you have brown eyes, I have money. It makes life convenient.” It’s fitting that you dream of having the same car as a ‘born rich Jew’.
What a story!😅 Had me going for sure ..
I think the guys really had fun with this one!
You’re awesome Bruce
You're awesome Mike. When is your 911 on the road?
@@eljimberinoq5518 Hey Jim! Going through insurance and registration at the moment.. soon as I have some credentials she's ready!
I wonder what he does/did for a living.
@@KutWrite I believe he was involved in high end real estate sales in the Beverly Hills /LA area
Just one of the coolest guys in the car hobby who is known and respected by all his contemporaries.
Couldn't agree more!

You pranked ME with that story! I was seething!
The Quintessential Car Guy.
I remember when the prank happened. I wonder if Bruce Meyer has ever gotten back at Bruce Canepa.😁
That was one classic prank to end all pranks

Especially in a Porsche!
Check the license plate of the black Suburban

"Everybody loves a Porsche."
Yes, that's true, but not everyone can AFFORD a Porsche.
Dude he he's in his early 80s? He doesn't look a day over 65!
Yep - that's a doozie of a story
The singalong music is asinine but the DEA tale is very funny.
It's not Porcher!
