Don't have a HUGE problem with calling Dempsey 'one of' the best actors turned racers, but I think legacy still suggests a mention of Paul Newman any time that accolade is tossed around.
I’d like to see the exhibit. Maybe next week. Once Porsche started developing 232 variants of the 911, they get boring. “Oh, but on this one, we changed the ashtray from aluminum to steel”.
No talking points about the Dean Jeffries Carrera - The Original Outlaw 356 that inspired Gary Emory to start modifying 356's? Dean Jeffries was a legendary California customizer with ties to James Dean, Steve McQueen, Carroll Shelby, George Barris and AJ Foyt. His personal hot rod Porsche 4-cam Carrera deserves some love too!
They are amazing. They managed to get tremendous performances out of smaller engines. They came from Stuttgart not Valhalla. They did have their quirks though.
You removed GT-40 from the vault way too early. You've had those Porsches for two years now. Gosh ... and where is James Dean's spyder replica? Gosh ..
1948, 356 #1 mid-engine replica. After that, they moved the engine BEHIND the rear axle to make it easier to drive ?? I DON'T THINK SO. It took them 50 years to fully tame the beast at speed.
Great vid, really enjoyed!!! 👍👍
Loved the tour, amazing selection of Porsches
Excellent video and an excellent exhibition. Love it! Can't wait to come back to the Petersen soon, my favourite museum. Cheers from the UK 🙏
I’ve been twice!! I love it 🥰

Well said.
Excellent video but - No Ruf Yellow Bird
Around the time the exhibit opened the museum had a Ruf mini exhibit
Tremendous exhibit! I’m heading back to see it again!
Enjoyed this very much!!! Thank you ❤
Beautiful display of Porsche! Can’t wait to get down to the museum and check them out!

Go deeper and understand.

Otis Chandler had a car museum in Oxnard.
No mention or display of the early ‘80’s front-engine water cooled Porsches that saved Porsche from bankruptcy??
Gross
Wasn’t the recovery really from the mid engine 986 and rear 996?
"we are Porsche"? Actually, I am Porsche and my friends are Porsche. So, are we all Porsche or are you just more Porsche than we are?

I believe what he meant was that it had a backseat and extra space for luggage

Why do Americans intentionally mispronounce "Le Mans" as "Le Maaah" instead of just "Le Mon"?
Dude need to study facts before talking about Porsche’s, the McQueen 930 is Noh a flat gray color.
What color is it? Looks flat gray
The color is Slate Gray and is non metallic color
@@vwgti1985Flat gray, in other words…
@@vwgti1985 Another words, enamel Slate Grey.
There’s nothing flat about it except the engine. 🎉
