You go girl.😃 Congrats on doing this for yourself. It's your finances. I am excited to learn how to budget and join your journey. Thank you for sharing. 🤗
This has come at the perfect time. I’ve been thinking of having Invisalign for a while now. I’m going to start saving for it in my budget as soon as I can, but excited to see how your journey goes. So excited for you! 💕
I’m so happy for you. I don’t think I would be able to do that, it sounds like to much work lol. To be honest you can’t even tell you have them which is awesome. Excited to see how things turn out.
Such an exciting journey! I clean 3 Orthodontics Clinics but I've never had braces. 😆 My daughter wants braces and my son says he'll only get Invisalign so this is helpful to see what to expect of we go that route in the future. Thanks for sharing! ❤
Thank you for sharing this. I have been contemplating Invisalign for years. Autie (my youngest) needs braces first and I’ll hopefully go for it after her. 💚😊
It's an investment in your health which will totally be worth it. When your teeth are aligned properly it makes them easier to clean and you can avoid some serious problems much easier. I had 10 months of Invisalign and then switched to traditional braces. I worked for a dentist for over 20 years. He had a few patients that had similar overbite/teeth anatomy/alignment as me and he wanted to use me as a guinea pig kind of to see if Invisalign might work for them - as well as for me. It couldn't correct my particular situation however Invisalign works beautifully for many, many people as long as you are compliant. Now, I wear the Invisalign retainers - Vivera and I wear them faithfully every single night!! It was totally worth it but don't want to repeat it. I soak my retainers in Hydrogen Peroxide once every couple of weeks for a few hours and they are still crystal clear - 3 years later. It is so good to work on yourself and do things that help you feel good about yourself. It will be fun to watch your progress!
Good for you.😊 Just to let you know the time frame is just an estimate. Good thing is there is no further cost but just know it may be longer than 15 months. The denture cleaner. I wouldn't recommend. It really is like rinsing your aligners with water. Just my thoughts. The best way to clean the aligners is to use a soft manual toothbrush along with a free & clear dishwashing soap and just brush the aligners thoroughly like you would do your teeth getting every crevice. For some time I had to wear my aligners for 2 weeks at a time and the dentist always was so shocked at how clean my aligners were.
I have braces at the moment. I did not think I would be compliant with wearing Invisalign 22 out of 24 hours in a day because I love to snack. haha It's hard to eat with my braces because of my front brackets, my back teeth can't touch, so it makes it hard to eat anything! I found out I'm getting them off in December which will be 3 months early...Praise GOD! lol
Wahoo!! 3 months here you come! I was thinking yesterday that I am really going to have to be disciplined to make sure I do everything I’m supposed to. Thankfully, for the past month I have only been doing water and no snacks for a fast I am doing with my church…so at least I eased my way into it.
I had braces as an adult. My orthodontist suggested I have a permanent retainer after I got my braces off, in addition to my regular retainer. Might be something to ask about.

So nice to see you back and saying TWO SNAPS! I’ve contemplating Invisalign forever so this was great to see! Thank you for sharing 🙂
I’ve enjoyed it so far. Can already feel my teeth shifting.

Thanks so much for sharing. You are totally right about investing in my health. That’s a good way to look at it. Thanks for the tips too.
Heyyy coming back to check how are you doing with your Invisalign. 👀 next year I will be taking the plunge. At least definitely going for a consult.
Good for you.😊

I am going to definitely ask for a permanent one. After this second round of orthodontic work, I’m not trying to have no other issues.
