Kalidashan guy is talking in generalities, he is not talking rationally, neither scientifically. Where ever human presence increase, if a natural disaster occurs it will cause higher human tolls. Tourism is not the issue here. The planning is the issue. You have clear mapping of this landslide, so why dont this Kalidasan guy write a scientific paper reporting where this landslide started, where are the mudflow path, and what is the cause of landslide, how the construction of particular tourism exposure cause this landslide.
