Phenomenal video! I swear, when I called their tech support, they literally had no clue how to do it.
I had to get a 50ft lineset (that came with a new 50ft communication line) but there's no way to get to the connections without taking off the entire cover.
Obviously that was a bit concerning at first cuz the last thing I want to do was mess up and scratch (or anything) a brand new unit but its literally the only way to switch it out without splicing the original 25ft wire that comes with it...which, btw, voids the warranty lol.
Anyway, thank you again. The only thing I have to add is to make sure you push down that little tab under the fin (that gives you access to the first screw you took off) otherwise it'll stop the housing from coming up and I believe i even saw yours snap and end up on the ground when you were taking yours off.
    Cheers!

Oh I will have to check that tab, hopefully it is still there. Yes I took risk opening it up as there was no instruction for the same model. Fortunately nothing broke.

Thanks for the video. Had to buy myself 50' wire because the ones in the units are obly 25'. Frustrating thst when i ordered a 50' refrigerant line the electrical cant reach.

I'd like to shorten the communication wire. It is about 12 feet too long. I don't know if it would void the warranty. Shouldn't be too difficult. It's just conduit.

I just talked with their techs on how to change mine out for a longer one and they said splicing voids it. Like the longer linesets, just coil it up behind the condenser. Not ideal visually but works just fine.
