This is highly inspiring! I recently purchased a pro vs mini as well along with a crave and an edge. These three synths are a perfect starting platform to anyone wanting to get into electronic music at an affordable price. It's mind boggling what the edge by itself is capable of doing,!! And the crave!!.... AND the pro vs mini!! Lol!! But all three together you can do most 3:20 anything you set your mind to. And like you I would very much advise folks out there to purchase a good reverb effects device and digital delay. All these devices together you're set! I loved this patch and the rest of your work!! Please keep the videos coming!!
Hi! Many thanks for your very nice comment. Your setup with crave, edge and pro vs mini is a very good choice! I can't think anything better at this price-range.
Love your content! If you had to choose just one affordable modern synth currently in production that is best for ambient duties, which would you go with? Honorable mentions welcome, too!
Hi! Thank you for your nice comment. For ambient music it is also important to have a good separate delay and reverb in the setup. For example, I have a Pigtronix Echolution² Deluxe and a GFI System Specular Reverb², but other brands also offer good-sounding products. If I had to start with a single synth, I would choose a very flexible one that I can easily experiment with in all directions (analog, digital, natural sounds). For example, I would be fine with a Roland Jupiter Xm or a Korg Wavestate. Other synths can then be added later to further expand the variety of sounds. Additionally, a DAW to layer the sound recordings wouldn't be bad either.
Yes, all sounds from the Pro VS Mini. Recorded through two fx pedals (Pigtronix Echolution 2 Deluxe, GFI System Specular Reverb 2), as I mentioned in my video description.

Was the pro vs doing all of these sounds?

I really like the patch at 1:00 into the video. I'm supposed to be getting one this week! First time trying vector.
