Thanks bro, I did Windows Setup already but I was using VLC media player to view local file, by watching your video now I know I don't need to install any app to view local files, Files app can do that easily, thanks dude. ❤
If this doesn’t work guys you will have to check the “security” section on the folder and add everyone to read and write.

I already tried making a new folder, allowing everything again, and updating everything. What else could I do?
I can't Thank you enough.. was struggling to backup my photos from iphone to windows PC for days now. with this i think i'll be able to copy the files to the shared folder in Iphone and access them through windows
Does not work in iOS 16.2 - at 3:35 select Guest, click on Next: "The operation couldn't be completed. Operation not supported."
Same result when I try Registered User.

"Connect to server" feature in Files app is not working for me for unknown reasons. It is showing that "There was a problem connecting to the server. Check the server name or IP address, then try again. If you continue to have problems, contact your system administrators." on my iPad when I am trying to connect to the server after setting up a shared folder on my Windows PC.
Please help!

i followed all the step and while connecting using the files app on the phone as a guest it says wrong username password please try again i need help BTW im using windows 11

How do I do this for offline mode? I ran through these steps until the command prompt said Media Disconnected and there’s no IP addresses. Can I not have a Wireless Network for sharing files between iPhone, iPad, and offline computer? The Apple devices have 5G cellular, but I don’t have internet on the desktop thatI want to transfer files to.
its work but for file ext .HEIC and .MOV from IOS cant be read on windows, can you share free software to convert them? because if using online converter really take a time and must one by one uploaded. Thank You

As soon as I restart my laptop the shared folder gets disconnected in my iphone and on reconnecting Socket is not connected error shows up. Please help

I did password and im the only user and I use the user under C:\Users in file explorer I used my PC password on my phone for the password on phone and I used the only user on my PC. After I put it in it said incorrect password and user. I am I doing something wrong.

When I try to log onto the server as a guest I receive an error that the connection has failed. I tried another tutorial where you log onto the server as a registered user and had the same problem. I tried switching my network on both devices (first try wifi, second try hotspot from the iPhone SE 2020). Do you have advice for me on how it might work? :)

this only seems to work when my iphone is using the same wifi as my computer, when I turn off my wifi and us only my cell data it dosnt connect to the folders, can anyone help me out here?
