I'm buying 2 of these and getting rid of my gasoline-powered jet skis as I'm SO sick of maintaining and working on gasoline vehicles, I'm done with them. Thanks for the review!
@@Ray-ys4gw I imagine that eventually (if electric watercraft become popular enough) that you might start seeing high speed charging ports at docks, so then you also don’t need to go anywhere to refuel; plug it in, have a quick cookout for lunch and then head back out with a full charge 90+ minutes later.
Not really "great" for the environment. What is the energy consumed to mine all the materials, machine them, make the batteries, etc. Then at its end of life what do you do with that machine? Some of it is recycled, maybe, but much of it will go into a landfill. I'm just keeping it real.
I’m curious how this compares to a gas Jet ski in terms of noise? There’s a reason I ask. On the particular lake where I would be using this if I did get one, there are swans who literally chase and attack you if you are in a Jet ski because the noise bugs them.
@@heyaisdabomb Battery (and overall) warranty, price point, service options & reparability would be important. I've never owned a jetski and it seems like I might as well enter the market with what the future will likely be anyway!

Range is going to be an issue. Most people now ride skis just like motorcycles. That’s why they install radios, coolers, and other accessories like GPS systems. I think if this brand is to take off, they would have to work on more efficient batteries. I’d like to test one out on one of our long rides here in Florida. See how it stacks up next to my VX skis.
90 minute range???? no thanks Ill keep my 2020 4 stroke yamaha GP1800R and ride the lake all day with more HP and speed than that slow and short ride E-ski!!!!!!
I like how everyone thinks something like this is better for the environment, well I uses more chemicals and plastic and dangerous crap to produce than a gas unit, and with the steady rise of electricity, it will cost more to charge it in the near future than the cost of fuel, oh yea, how much for a new battery???? you don't want to know!!!!
Such hogwash. It also doesn't burn gas and oil over its lifetime. The battery materials are recyclable whereas the gas and oil you use in your gas machine are not. Electricity is getting cheaper while gas is getting more expensive, and electricity if far cheaper than gas. The battery will last the life of the machine, and why don't you ask the price of a new engine?
The fish will love you for your lack of noise pollution and you can make your own electricity. A Tesla..just reported 400k before battery replacement.. Hows those petroleum checks tho?

Im thinking the same thing. Maintenance is the only downsides on jetskis. If i could eliminate that expense id be set!

@@Ray-ys4gw never had a jetski before, planning on buying one, are the maintanance costs so high? how often do u need to do them?
Thanks for taking the Orca for a rip! It was great to catch up with you again. Keen for an electric snowmobile ride next?
Very much so!
75 mph that's insane. I also love how quiet it is. I got ADHD sound sensitivity so these electric vehicles are such a ear saver for me.
Not related to PWC, but does ADHD sound sensitivity manifest as being easy startled by loud sounds?
Just beautiful and great for the environment. Your Lake is magic.

Looks like fun I’m suffering from wanderlust
So cool
can you nose dive this? how long does it last on one charge? how long does it take to recharge?
I could use the serenity of Muskoka right about now...
why does the electric motor sound like a gas motor? at time index 1:35?

New baby 👶 & new toy for daddy 2021!
I don’t wanna grow up! Toys 4ever! 😎✌🏻🤙🏻🤘🏻😎
It was in kph. 74 kph = 46 mph.
3:01 Good call - that's what the units say.
Top speed of production models said to be 62 mph
Hey Brendan. I enjoy your vlogs. Just wondering who makes your sunglasses. I like them
Garrett Leight
Going to work with a jetski 🤭 nice life problems
If they can keep the price at a decent level, I don't see any reason why they wouldn't sell a ton of these.
Price is 15.000$
@@nikolajw.2098 So the question is do they hold their value...

Thanks Ivan! We have received your pre-order 🤜🤛
Wow get it! Love to hear that
Is it a founders series
It's not a Jet Ski unless it's made by Kawasaki. It's a PWC.
Yes every idiot calls PWC's Jet Ski's because there stupid, Jet Ski is a trade name by Kawasaki, and not every sled is a Ski-doo either.
Good Lord

Operating time still too low.
That's a lot of money for something that will run out of juice in approximately 2 hours...

On mine the math is$2 to charge vs. $45 for same time on gas pwc
Sounds like shit. Needs to be more silent.
Junk
Don’t know who wants something without a real motor that you can hear
