My dad was a professional long haul truck driver. As kids we would fall asleep in the cab of his truck. The sound from this video reminds me of being a kid again.😊 And yes! It does lull one to sleep😴🥰

Thank you so much uve been searching for this exact sound on RUclips for years . This is the only one that sounds how it did when my dad would pass by them on road trips . It was so calming and peaceful to fall asleep to. So comforting to be the only car on the road among the trucks.

You should see how good I sleep with my rig idling and this playing. I used to run refer and I always slept better with the refer unit sound. Now that I've found this I'm loving it. Off to bed I go. Thanks for whomever created this one.

Wow! I don't know how you did this so fast but it's perfect, especially that metal gear/grinding sound. My hound and I used to ride with my roommate to keep him company and awake on long trips. I played this all night from downstairs so my roommate could hear it above me in the loft. He slept so relaxed he almost couldn't get up for work. Even my hound was snoring away. She agrees, it's the best, though I will still be giving the trains quite a bit of play. I applaud your creativity and the awesome amount of work you have put into this channel. It should help people from all environments and types of work to sleep or just relax and heal themselves from anything. It would also probably benefit companion and working animals. I wish you all the best and will be watching for new sounds. I even enjoy exploring sounds I've never heard. Thank you so much!! It's exactly what we wanted!!

A friend of mine recently discovered a game called, 'American Truck Simulator'. Assuming I wouldn't like it already, I decided I'd at least try it for a while with the intent to uninstall before the week was over.
Not only am I surprisingly enjoying it, unfortunately I mysteriously get soooo sleepy and start yawning almost immediately.
Realizing it was somehow relaxing me, I would try to play it before I go to sleep. I even started to look for RUclips videos of people playing the game too.
And one day, I found this gem.
Not only is it TEN hours long, if I wake up in the middle of the night I'm not blinded by the videos on the screen.
It has drastically improved my sleeping habits or help me stay asleep during the night.
It's kinda scary how well this works, haha. But I said ALL that to say... Thank you for giving me something I literally didn't know I needed haha.
