I love watching different set up vids, it doesn't matter if it's some 5k setup or $500 setup. I just like finding small things I could use or do in my own place.
dude love all the stuff you do! and buy the way, i did not know that you live in socal! i live in socal too so just did not expect that. anyway keep up the good work
i'm glad you enjoy the content! yeah people figured out that i was in irvine for a while from the 'how to not get scammed' video where i was onewheeling around lol
Kickass setup! you should get some nice graphic prints of keyboards/switches and put them in the background for your streams!! I think filling the wall with art would really add to the stream background
10:46 You can put a carpet on the wall. It looks cool. And I'm pretty sure it would work as well. Maybe you could even stuff some padding underneath if it wasn't thick enough.
Awesome office. Two suggestions. Fiddle leaf needs direct sun! Try moving it closer to the window if you can and it might be happier. Also a dark color accent wall behind your desk would be dank to bring the setup together.
I have the Deskhaus as well. It’s no joke. Best desk ever. You should check out UniFi for your next wireless setup, if you ever decide to change. Super reliable and top notch performance. Great setup and content!
Since you mentioned wanting to use art instead of acoustic panels, I do something that you may be interested in. It's pretty easy if you're at all handy, or want to pretend you are for a weekend. I had the same desire for my living room so I made frames out of 2x4s and filled them with Rockwool insulation, stapled some foam core poster board to the back, and then I used Printique to get some canvas printed with the poster art for some of my favorite movies that I stretched over the front and stapled around back. Looks like I just had some art made and it's really effective acoustic treatment. You could probably just make a couple thin but tall ones for either side of those shelves in the back, maybe one for your wall behind the desk, and you'd be good to go. Now if you're not handy and would rather spend a bit more, there are companies who just make acoustic art prints. Acoustimac and GIK Acoustics come to mind.
thanks! Im not handy but I looked into that.. when you put canvas on the surface doesn’t it end up becoming a reflective surface? Also I’m trying to avoid the expensive acoustic panels by doing more practical additions
@@AndyVNguyen It's definitely not as acoustically transparent as a fabric that's made specifically for it, but it still breathes enough to let it through. It's a pretty thin and flexible art style canvas. Practical treatments are definitely a solid plan as well, and the bookshelf like you're already doing is huge. Cork also makes a pretty fantastic absorber if you have a lot of things you could pin up to a big cork board that would be a good move as well.
did you just do a butcher block on legs? cuz I did the same and then I'm like "how do I get rid of this current one to get the one I want for a desk" lol. just ended up giving it to my sister..
@@AndyVNguyen nah dude I just went with a normal long-boi desk, qualities really nice though. Being able to switch up to standing posture would be kind of fire that's why
yeah it's mostly useful if i need a pick me up but also wanna keep working. also streaming while standing makes me feel better about doing it for long hours
Your room looks amazing! My room is similar - I have two of those ikea shelves behind (wooden one) plus the large natural hardwood top standing table (just purchased in the last month and half a world away from you, so sorry I would have used your link if I was near you and had not already purchased it). That sideboard looks fantastic and is exactly what I need to embellish my room further. Thanks for the tip. I was going to leave it at that. However, I noticed that your mesh wifi is within a steel-string shelf in your garage. Unfortunately, that would be acting as a faraday cage, effectively reducing the transmission rate. Speedtest your wifi with the unit inside and then again with the unit outside of the steel shelf. If there is a difference then its probably best to hang that unit on the wall, with a wall mount. Anyways, great job once again.
Let me know you have any suggestions for art for my walls!
IF I HIT 1000 LIKES I'LL DO A FULL HOUSE TOUR!
I got all my Framed art pieces from Society 6
Try displate. It's magnetic and you can change things once a while

How the hell are you not verified yet. You make great content.
@@Isaacthedank Ha I wish - but no, definitely nowhere near that level yet. appreciate the kind words though :')

Know of any examples because im drawing a blank
if your room is a harvard lecture hall my room is a kindergarden classroom
Can I borrow some tape for tape mod from your classroom?
Have you tried putting the fiddle leaf in the corner in front of the window so it gets more light?
Then the sideboard would be offcenter
Awesome office. Two suggestions.

Paint is cheap, but screwing up where it meets the ceiling would be forever pain LOL.
The leaves nearest the window stayed solid but the ones near the corner all fell. So unless I get rid of sideboard I imagine it needs to stay outside
Yeah painting is annoying but if you have the original paint for your walls then you can’t mess it up too bad, just touch it up later.
that's the thing idk if i have the original paint T_T. flipped houses man
Very very nice looking room! Thanks for the tour and setup details
You’re welcome! I’m so happy with how it turned out

Unikorn still there center piece :). How often do you dust the keyboards on the shelf? Nice spacious home by the way.
I vacuum weekly so not too much dust on them. I’d just dust them before grabbing them use tbh
Did you 3d print the keyboard stands or pick those up somewhere?
3d printed! The files are free online

What’s the narrow horizontal bar along the top of your left monitor?
Xiaomi light bar. Honestly it’s not plugged in . My ceiling lights are plenty
