James Ingram and Patti Austin really did have EXCELLENT duet chemistry! Their voices were perfect together like Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack. I LOVE James/Patti song “How Do You Keep The Music Playing” beautiful song. I also love Patti’s Razzamatazz off Quincy Jones The Dude album..

All American music is Black music. Let's not forget that African Americans are the creators of Rock, Country, Blues, Jazz, EDM/House, etc. These genres were stolen and white washed and African American artist are marginalized to Urban categories of music to perpetuate negative stereotypes surrounding the African American community. Additionally, Pop simply means "Popular" however Pop music has been synonymous with whiteness while Black has been associated with "Urban" even though Blacks created every genre of music in America. Just because you are Black, that does not mean that you are "R&B". All music is Black music. White America has wrongfully stolen and white washed everything. Even the Latin categories are white washed with white Latinos even though Afro Latinos created every Latin genre of music from Salsa to Reggaeton 😑😑😑😑😑
