    In this video ex international rugby union player and RFU level 3 rugby coach gives some more passing tips. He shows you how and when to attack around the ruck or fringes. He explains what to look for to make your rugby pass successful. How to adjust your inside foot if the player receiving the ball is really deep or flat.     Young Scumhalf from the USA. Incredibly grateful for this as I’m struggling to understand this aspect of the position. Thankful for the education and setup for a drill I can run on my own or with no defenders just attacking players. 🙏

      @@DeLaSports played a lot of rugby over here in England. The attention to detail explained in an engaging way with passion is brilliant. I advise any youngster wanting to learn the game to watch you. Not only is this helpful for scrum half or anyone moving thr ball out the back of s ruck etc. But opposing players can watch the position of the foot now to know what the scrum half is planning.

    played winger at high school level and was moved to scrumhalf when i started university had i really difficult year but seeing you explain like this you just opened my mind and i now understand certain things about the position please keep posting i truly appreciate you

      I take it you are quick, you could definitely use your pace to your advantage. I'm going to make another video about passing off the ground while on the run, without slowing down too much. This would benefit the quicker 9's a lot.

      I'm in the same boat! Been many years since I played the game, and now I have to hop-in as back-up scrummie (used to be a fast wing, now I'm older and slower, ha)...we only practice twice per week, so I watch his videos to get more knowledge!! :D Good luck to you!!!

    I'm glad I found this video; I'm aiming to be a scrum half because I was a loose forward in my junior days, but being a 5'5" prop doesn't work very well for mens lol.

      @@DeLaSports Nothing much has changed at Mose other than all the players have moved on. Ollie Thomas plays cricket 🏏 now. You remember his father Thomo well he died after a fall from a bike.
