Finally a method I can remember for doing a magic loop!! Yay! No matter how many times I tried to make one based on different videos, I would end up doing it wrong - watched you do it once, and - boom! - by jove, I've got it! Thank you so much, and fyi, I think my cat, Milo, loves your voice! Every time I watch one of your videos, he jumps up on my shoulder and settles down facing the screen and purrs!

Same as a slip knot, but working into the loop instead of the loop being the first stitch.

My cat Mushroom loves her videos too, I swear it calms her down to listen to her voice. She just falls asleep when I start the video lol.

Same! Same! Same about the magic loop! I've been trying to master one for amigurumi and while I could kind of muster it, it always felt clunky and it seemed off. This made it so simple and easy in my head. I'm so glad I found this channel. And Milo sounds adorable and has great taste in RUclips videos. :-)

As a knitter, I came to your channel for the yarn reviews, but I have to say you've piqued my interest in trying crochet again! Your tutorials are far more understandable than most other tutorial channels I've seen and I've found myself watching so much more than just the yarn reviews. I'm actually looking at getting myself a set of Tunisian hooks to try Tunisian crochet. :)

I started the bigger basket last night and thought I’d have it finished in a day or two. 😂 I think my yarn is heavier, but without a label, I can’t be sure. But I have to take frequent breaks because it’s so heavy that my wrists are hurting and my fingers were shaking last night! But I’m determined to finish this basket so I have somewhere to keep my yarn besides dollar store shopping bags. 😊

I just returned to fiber arts to make Christmas gifts this year. I had a cottage industry business about 20 years ago when my kids were
toddlers. I was a knitter, but randomly came across a crochet basket pattern here on RUclips and can't believe how much I missed this art of creation. I discovered you a few weeks ago (because, yes, I've been binging crocheting vlogs while I worked on those 8 baskets). I have to say, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your methods, product reviews of tools and yarns, and incredibly well-done tutorials. Thank you so much
for sharing your talent and teaching skills with the world. I cannot begin to express my appreciation..I'm off to watch your Tunesian hook review, because I must try that method :) Love you, Toni!

Hi Tony I just wanted to quickly say that I really I love your videos! I have been watching your channel for a little while now and I totally love your style. The way you hold yourself and the way you talk about your passion is so inspiring, and lately I find myself watching some of your blogs and tutorials on your RUclips Channel. I had found your channel through my interest of Tunisian Crochet as there aren't a lot of Tunisian Crochet Channels out there and I wanted to learn more about Tunisian Crochet and what I can do with Tunisian crochet.
I am a young crochet artist at heart. I am 21 years old and I started Crocheting roughly when I was 10 years old and in school. I recently just started my very own RUclips channel, Tasmin's Crochet Creations, and I took inspiration from you aswell as HappyBerry Crochet and other Channels to try and create great content for my viewers. I know my channel is not the best but slowly I am learning and developing.
Thank you Tony for such awesome content and for just being the awesome, fun person you are. You are such an inspiration to me and many others. Your work will always be greatly appreciated.! 🌻🌺❤💕

This is long but I feel it's important, so:
I "picked up" crocheting like five years ago, in the same way I "pick up" most of my hobbies - buy a bunch of materials and then barely use them because I'm struggling to learn.
But since I found your channel, like, a year ago? Maybe? I've finally Got It. I'm not very good at conceptualizing things so I've struggled with really understanding how to look at a project and know where to put stitches or tell if I'm wrong. And if I don't understand why/how something works I just can't do it. But because you explain not just the pattern but also how to tell where your stitches go and why and how to tell if I did it right, I finally get it.
I've spent so long trying to understand the MECHANICS of crochet, and because of how you teach I finally got it. I went from getting anxiety about crocheting (because I was always second-guessing myself) to doing it for fun on the regular.
I crocheted my all my family's and friends presents this year, and opening youtube to this new vid today made me realize I should thank you for that. Genuinely, I don't think I'd be crocheting if not for what you, as a teacher, bring to the table, Toni. So, thank you! My family loved their presents, and I'm loving having a focused task that helps me reign in my ADHD brain that has tangible results at the end. You're doing good work and it's very much appreciated ♥
    Anyway, Happy Holidays!

Wonderful. I mastered it in 1970, but was taught by a lovely American girl from L A. I love crochet, but since watching RUclips I have attempted things I wouldn't normally make. I am going to try this basket with 2 or 3 strands of Aran yarn.
Good luck with all your projects, stick with it, it is so satisfying. Crochet is easy to undo and try again, so that helps.👌👍🤞🍀💝🤗

I just made my very first basket, thanks to YOU! Your pattern was super easy. The only problem I have is concentrating on count while crocheting the base. But I did it!!! I love my basket. Easy, easy, easy! Your a great instructor!!!
