    I think that they need to be studied more in the day outside to see what they are doing, which would be difficult because they are nocturnal. But might help understand how much UV they really get. This is very important subject. 😊😊😊

      Yes, it’s a very important subject. I still believe they might not need it if they are fed proper nutrition and given ample space.

    This is interesting stuff brother man. I definitely don’t run uv on my gray tree frogs every day. But I do give them them periods of exposure every so often. It’s such a back and fourth topic. Would be interesting to know the truth of it. Maybe you’ll be the guy who proves it one way or the other! Stay froggy! :)

      Thanks Bill! I tried to lay out a solid justification for not necessarily using it. I understand people will use it, but I want people to understand it’s probably not a necessity and if they have smaller enclosures, it could cause them to go blind. I also believe this does apply to whites tree frogs as well. Different hylids have different niches in the Wild so that’s why this isn’t a one size fits all argument for all tree frogs. I appreciate your input!
